Duplicate content reported for totally different pages

Hi,
The Moz report is showing just over 21,500 duplicate page issues on our site. This is more or less every page we have. However when I look at the pages it says are duplicates they are totally different (it could for example report that a news page for 2009 is the same as a product page just added which has no relation when you read the content or view the page).
What sort of thing could it be picking up as duplicate content? I assume it must be something in the HTML for the site rather than the actual page content as there is no cross over at all on the pages highlighted. The only issue I can currently identify is that the menu for the mobile version of the site has a huge number of internal links which I will cut down. If the tools purely look at HTML content this could be seen as duplicate but shouldn't it be clever enough to realise what is content and what is site structure?

Thanks for writing with a great question! Campaigns have up to a 90% tolerance for duplicate content. This includes all the source code on the page and not just the viewable text. So if a URL is at least up to 90% similar in code to another URL, this warning will appear. Although the pages in question are may appear to be different on the front end, they are actually duplicates based on this percentage.
We don't know what standard Google uses, but it's safe to say they are a bit more sophisticated than us - so you might be okay in this regard as long as you have a couple hundred words of unique text per page. Google won't say how much duplicate content is too much, so we like to be better safe than sorry.

Duplicate page found with MOZ crawl test?
When I crawl my website www.radiantguard.com, the crawl test comes back with what appears to be a duplicate of my home page: http://www.radiantguard.com and http://www.radiantguard.com/ Does the crawler indeed see two different pages and therefore, are my search engine rankings potentially affected, AND is this because of how my rel canonical is set up?

Site Crawl report show strange duplicate pages
Beginning in early in Feb, we got a big bump in duplicate pages. The URLs of the pages are very odd: Example URL:

http://firstname.lastname@website.com/dir/page.php
is duplicate with http://website.com/dir/page.php I checked though the site, nginx conf files, and referral pages, and could not find what is prefixing the pages with 'http://firstname.lastname@'. Any ideas? The person whose name is 'Firstname Lastname' is stumped as well. Thanks.0 -
On Page Grader inconsistent
Why does the on page grader not update it's grades based on the other factors, other then the title tag. i.e. I can have the keyword 'burger' in H1 tags, the URL, ALT attributes, in the body text a couple times and in the meta section of the site and receive an F grade from the on page grader, but as soon as I add the word 'burger' to the title I receive an A grade. Is there a reason why the only factor that has that influence is the title tag, and why is it that a keyword for a page cant get say a B or C grade if it has the other factors covered (i.e. they have a tick next to them) but not the title tag? Is there a tool that works like crawl test that allows more than 3000 pages?
I enjoy using crawl test inside moz but I need to find a way to crawl all the pages on a site. It would probably be in the neighborhood of 10,000 urls. Does anyone know of a free tool and if not is there a paid tool that will do this?

How do you block keywords in On-Page Grader for certain URLs?
For the on-page grader, I rank A's for 9 keywords. I struggle with F's I have because it is searching keywords on pages that are not supposed to be searched. For example, I have a "bracelets" page, so I didn't optimize it for "rings", so I got an F. However, it graded me an A for the bracelets keyword, which is great. To be sure I am correct, each page should have it's own keyword, such as bracelet. So why is the grader checking my "Bracelets" page for "Rings"? Maybe there is something I am missing. Just trying to see why this happening.

Way has the number of pages crawled plummeted?
Why has the number of pages crawled for our campaign plummeted in Moz Analytics – down to 729 from over 10k? Don't see any issues in Google Analytics with crawling our site.

On-page Grader and Cyrillic keywords
Hi all, I'm trying out the On-page grader and i see "funny" output when it comes to cyrillic keywords. I can see 73 occurrences in the title, 108 in the meta description tag, 34 in the H1 tag, etc. etc... Of course, these are not correct and i've manually checked. I've tested a few other pages in Bulgarian, using Cyrillic kewords... same story 😞 Please, let me know if there's something i'm missing, as this is crucial for my work. Thanks in advance.
