MOZ Not Picking Up Facebook "Likes"
-
For some reason MOZ is not registering the number of Facebook likes my corporate Facebook page has. Over 700 likes have accumulated, yet MOZ is showing zero. It is strange because MOZ has picked up three Facebook "shares".
Does anyone have an idea how this issue can be corrected?
Thanks,
Alan -
OSE looks at Facebook likes for your page/domain, NOT for your Facebook page on the Facebook domain. If you look at it that way, does it explain the numbers?
For example, OSE shows moz.com has having a couple of thousand likes, compared to our FB page on Facebook.com that has 151,000 likes.

Thanks for the response Jimmy!!
Site explorer is showing zero likes, when there are about 800. The MOZ program show about the correct number.
I am concerned that this will affect domain authority and other metrics.
When I enter competing domains in Site Explorer Facebook likes are shown, so I don't understand why they are not getting picked up for my site. Any ideas, anyone?
Thanks,
Alan -
Is this in the MOZ program itself or in Open Site Explorer? I have had issues in the past with MOZ not showing "Page" like counts correct. If it is site explorer, they are never 100% accurate but usually not that far off. There is a question posted just prior to this one that is referring to the same issue with Open Site Explorer here: http://moz.com/community/q/facebook-likes-not-showing-up-in-open-site-explorer

Unsolved How Does MOZ Pro Help An E-Commerce Site Gain Rankings?
Added Maximum keywords on Moz Pro - Updated our SERP and optimized metas for all our products on Bookscardsnbikes. We are sorting out bad backlinks - and have google ads + and boosting our seo. And yet - no traffic or customers [minimal] Have been a business for one year. In short: can you take a look at our moz [Site Audit] and explain what we're missing to get our company off of the ground. We are more than okay with criticism - it helps us grow. Our layout and site design is completely fine and what we want. But we think its just a matter of being a new site that we aren't getting the amount of business we COULD have. Is the 200$ a month worth it? What is moz doing to help us grow? Best. Bookscardsnbikes

Does Moz recognize rel next prev tags? Magento question
Howdy Mozzers! We are running a store in magento where we have many products in each category. Hence view all for category pages is not an option. We have applied rel next prev tags to our paginated pages in the following manner Example for page 2 in a category: The issue we are facing is that Moz suggests www.domain.com/category and www.domain.com/category?p=1 as duplicates, even though rel next prev tags are implemented. 1. Does nel next prev consolidate link juice?

[Moz Help] Re: Trying to add a valid URL into MOZ account
See below and pls let us know what we have to do solve this : | | Joel Day (Moz Help) Mar 07 05:03 PM Hey Tracy, It looks like there's a redirect loop on your site. greatwesternflooring.com redirects to www.greatwesternflooring.com/ which in turn 302 redirects back into itself. You'll likely need to fix the redirect before you can continue configuring the campaign. 🙂 Thanks!

How to legally run an onsite competition from Facebook?
Hi Guys, I am thinking about running a competition on my website in order to drive traffic to it, however the regulations that govern competitions around FB are convoluted to say the least. I am under the impression that I can advertise the competition on FB by direct them to an external site. Does anyone have any experience with this and can guide me, so I dont burn a well established Social Profile with over 2,200 connections? Thank you for any help you can give me. Kind Regards, Craig

Seo Moz for Clients
One thing I recently pondered following the introduction of logos on reports bringing that level of personalisation for the customers is ... would it be somehow possible to take it a step further and have a login on your own personal site that could somehow enable clients to download and look at the information as and when they wanted. An almost mini sep moz for clients where customers login through your own site ?
