Feedback on prleads.com

Hello
Just wondering if anyone has ever tried prleads.com (It's like a huge PR network)
It looks a bit too good to be true. But never know
-
I don't think so, if anything there is a benefit. The only thing I don't like about press release sites is that you don't have control over where they submit your release. You pay them a fee, write your release and then how for the best.
I haven't seen any negative effects from doing press releases. Just make sure what you put out there is something someone will find helpful or useful.

Do you thing there is any google penalty behind this ?

I have never used PR leads, but I have used sbwire with some success. Seems to be the same type of distribution. I believe sbwire also owns digital journal, which is one of the places your release will be published.
I'm interested in others response to this as well.

Can I 301 redirect old URLs to staging URLs (ex. staging.newdomain.com) for testing?
I will temporarily remove a few pages from my old website and redirect them to a new domain but in staging domain. Once the redirection is successful, I will remove the redirection rules in my .htaccess and get the removed pages back to live. Thanks in advance!

Sponsoredreviews.com , anyone ever used it?
I came across this site http://www.sponsoredreviews.com/, thought its idea was a place were you can offer your product to be reviewed by bloggers, (fairly white hat I would have thought), I had a quick look and it seemed to me its for for selling back links on blogs, but before I dismissed it completely I just wanted to see if anyone else had any experience with it? Update: if this website is no good, are there any genuine places were you can offer you products for review?

Feedback on link building idea
We came up with this idea at work for a client but before I initiate it I was wanting to get feedback on if this would be considered whitehat and alright to use. It is for an ecommerce site. On the order confirmation and thank you page (not email cause they are on some old system that does not send out emails) we are wanting to put a thank you for your order message and continue with a statement about how they can save money on future purchases with a link that takes them to a page with info on how to do so. That new page will have info about linking to the site from a blog or website. And will say if you link back to us and send us an email with that link as proof we will give you a promo code for your next purchase. Is this alright?

Yelp.com - How do they do this?
Yelp.com seems to dominate a lot of search results for a lot of reasons. Specifically, I've noticed that their internal search results URL appears in Google for tons of results like "hem jeans new york". They dominate TONS of terms like this and it's always an internal search result page for yelp that appears in #1 Google. From what I can tell, yelp.com is taking various keyword permutations from their internal search, combined with local city/zip info and creating such landing pages. Here is a URL result for "hem jeans new york" http://www.yelp.com/search?find_desc=Hem+Jeans&find_loc=New+York%2C+NY My question is this...What are the specific causes of their success on this type of local / long-tail / specific keyword strategy? Is it... 1. Using dynamic sitemaps to feed Google thousands of URLs with various keyword permutations attached.? 2. Their domain reputation, inbound links, etc. etc. 3. Both? Something else? Thanks for your feedback.
