Hello Moz Community! My name is Colby. I work with Comit Developers here in the US, but I currently have a client that is in need overseas. My client is looking for SEO work in Switzerland. We've never worked in this country, but we are willing to outsource to get a little help. I am looking for some smaller SEO companies in or nearby Zurich. Does anyone have any ideas? We are looking for companies who can charge fair prices. I'm not sure how expensive the Swiss market is for SEO, but I'd love some insight. Can anyone help me?

I would suggest a Search on Google for "SEO companies near Zurich" the ones who come top of the ranking I would look into. Sorry if this sounds a little obvious, but like Tattoos "Cheap SEO isn't good and Good SEO isn't cheap!"

GMB issues for international train company
Hi There I work for an international train company which operates in multiple locations across several European countries.

I have been asked to claim our Google my business profiles for each location so we can manage reviews, images etc.. The problem i have is that our physical location (ticket desk, check in area etc..) in each country is in a train station (obviously). We share the same address and postcode with the train stations ( i have personally phone them to make sure that was the case) My question is, can i claim our business in GMB using the same details as the train stations?
If i can, it is literally impossible for me to verify each profile through the use of coupon as I can't travel to each destination. I heard i could do bulk verification if we own more that 10 properties but I am not quite sure how to do all of it Any help on both these questions would be greatly appreciated0 -
Changing Recognized Address Impact Local SEO
One of my clients is moving offices. They want to change the recognized address from: REAL ADDRESS: 4a Normal Road, Normal Area, City, POSTCODE To: MODIFIED ADDRESS: Fancy Name, Normal Road, Normal Area, City, POSTCODE I imagine this may cause issues when one tries to build some citations, with the address not being recognized by the site. Perhaps there are other issues, can anyone foresee any problems with the change? Local results are very important to this company, would it be better to stick with the real street address?

How to tell Google My Business what area is local to my company?
Hello Mozers I've been stumped by the changes in the interface with Google My Business. I used to be able to set up the area for which I wanted a business to cover. Now I can't find anyway to tell Google. The company I work for is in St Albans and our main workload is London. It would be helpful if I could actually control what Google Local sees as Local for my company, i.e. to encompass central London which is only 19 miles away. Can someone give me an idiots guide has to how to tell Google the area I'd like our local listing to cover? Thanks

Yelp SEO in action
Please help me figure out how come E Appliance Repair Yelp page pops out every time I search Google for next keywords: Dacor repair Los Angeles, Miele repair Los Angeles, Sub Zero repair Los Angeles, and others like those? What direction do I need to move in to get close to those results? Any advise will be highly appreciated!

SEO best practices for store locator and local pages - 301 or not?
I have been struggling to answer this on my own and now throwing up for the Moz community for a life line. Our company has several location across 6 states. We have local pages that we are working to improve with better content. We also have a store locator that will list the stores but the pages are not the same. See below example. I can't help but feel like I am splitting juice and traffic that should be combined to one page for each location. Any ideas or advice on how we can best combine/funnel the traffic to one optimized page? Worried about changing local SEO homepage tactic
Our current home page is texty, talking about why choose us and general information on what the service involves. We are currently developing a new web design and content architecture involving moving all the content out of the home page, and making the homepage a beautiful guide to the site, as is the best practice. I think the home page will generally result in a better user experience. SEO: we currently rank second for "service city" (going to our homepage). Our domain is service-city.co.uk. While the change is going to involve us adding lots of new good-quality pages with new keyword targets, our most important keyword by far is "service city" and the home page would probably still be the most appropriate page for that keyword. And I'm gravely worried the change will negatively impact this keyword. I would appreciate your thoughts

Does SEO work?
Hello, I have a question which I really want to get to the bottom of. We are carrying out some SEO for a client. Im currently using the tools in Moz to help me with this. Im currently trying to target "Dentist Balham". We are following all the "rules" creating content, created a mobile friendly site etc. However the site that is coming top is www.balhamdentalcare.co.uk which carries non of the things we are doing, in fact a lot of the content is PDF downloads. They don't do well in the SERP Report compared to other sites. Its basically not a great site but its coming up first. Does any one think this can be beaten or does it just come down to the fact that they use "Balham" in the domain name? Thanks for your advice.
