Google Analytics Linking
-
Hi,
When I created my campaign, I accidentally sync'd it to the wrong Google Analytics profile. I tried to disconnect and reconnect with the correct one, but now it displays the wrong profile's figures while still saying it's sync'd to the correct profile. How can I fix this?
Any help is appreciated,
Dustin Swope -
Hey Dustin,
I would love to look into this further for you, but I would need to know which campaign you are referring to in order to investigate the issue. If you prefer to keep your campaign details private, please email them to help@moz.com.

Have you tried editing the campaign settings? Once you click on the campaign in question, in the top right there should be a button that says "campaign settings". Click that, and the second editable option on the page will be the Google analytics settings. Have you tried clicking the pencil, and trying a different setting?
Worse case scenerio, just start a new campaign. Sounds like this is one that you just set up, so you shouldn't lose any data.

Hi Dustin - so sorry about that. You can also email our help team and they may be able to check into what's preventing the Google Analytics connection from fully disconnecting. You can reach them at help@moz.com.

Hi Dustin,
I too had this problem once, and I couldn't work out how to solve it - in the end I deleted the campaign (it had only been running for a day) and set it up again from fresh. This time I used the correct Google Analytics profile and it worked as it should. I'm sure there is probably another way to fix it, but I had nothing to lose from starting the campaign again - I'll be interested to read what other answers you get, so I can learn the 'proper' way to fix this.

Where are all of my on page links coming from?
I am trying to reorganize my site and with that my home page. I want to follow the 100 internal link rule. However when I run a Moz crawl test it says that there is too many on page links. I than went to Moz open site explorer and it said there is 237 links. When I exclude in bound links that still leaves me in the mid 100 range. After counting them my self I can only come up with 75 on page links. Does anyone know how I can find what Moz is referring to? And how I would be able to find where this links are? I might be missing something simple or maybe I don't understand exactly how the Moz tools work. That is why input from this great community would help. Thanks!

Why can't I Ctrl + click on links on Moz any more?
I'm interested if it's just me that gets frustrated by this? I've just Ctrl + clicked a few links to open them in separate tabs and then realised that none of them had opened. I know it's been like this for a while. It's a usability issue as it goes against expected norms, and now I have to right-click and then click "Open in new tab" on each link, which is more time-consuming and frustrating. More and more websites seem to be losing their Ctrl + click on links ability (JavaScript often breaks it). I don't know if there's a Mac equivalent... Anyway, I hope that doesn't seem like I'm too angry. It just frustrates me a little and I hope it gets fixed. 🙂 Edit - I've just realised these are getting blocked by Chrome's pop-up blocker - but why? It's only an issue on a small number of websites.

Whenever your account is suspended, your campaigns are archived. The good news is that reviving archived accounts is really simple. Go to your Campaigns section: http://pro.moz.com/campaigns
At the top of the page there is a "Archived Campaigns" Tab, give it a click.
From here, you should easily be able to "activate" your campaigns. My Google Analytics profile won’t stay connected to my campaign and/or I am missing profiles in my GA Settings. Google goes through a process called Oauth when it comes to authorizing access of services that are linked to your Google account. Under any single Google account, there are about 20 tokens account wide. Those tokens are used to provide access for a variety of services from Gmail to apps on your phone. Once you hit the limit, which is 20 for most users, the system automatically revokes the oldest token to provide a new one. I'm not certain if this is causing the issue on your account, but it is a great place to start troubleshooting. You may be able to correct the issue by manually revoking your tokens to make room for new ones on your account and then reconnecting the account to Moz. Here are the instructions on how to do that: Follow this link https://accounts.google.com/b/0/IssuedAuthSubTokens. This page displays the current OAuth tokens you are using. Once you reach the page, simply press the revoke button (illustrated on this screenshot: http://screencast.com/t/vjh3KrjRRIe) for services that you are not using right now. Once you are done with, that simply go back to your campaign settings, disconnect your GA profile and reconnect. The below process may also fix this issue for you. Head to your campaign settings page on your overview page. Disconnect your Google Analytics connection. Go back to your settings page and click on "connect account." Please make sure you log into the correct GA account. 🙂 Hurray! This should let you grab the most current traffic data! Oops! try refreshing page! I can’t access any of my Campaign data.
This issue is normally machine specific and can be a bit complex. An individual forum has been created to address this: https://seomoz.zendesk.com/entries/28203486-Oops-Try-Refreshing-the-Page-Error-showing-on-all-pages- Unable to retrieve historical ranking CSVs.
