When connecting your Google Analytics account to your Moz account, Moz provides a drop-down of accounts & UA codes to select from. Where is Moz pulling those selection options from?
-
The list of Google Analytics accounts and UA codes listed are outdated. How can I update them to reflect the most up-to-date accounts (& UA codes associated with those accounts)?
-
Thanks, Joel.
So it looks like the solution is I need to use the same email address in Moz that is associated with our new GA accounts....in order to deliver the correct GA accounts through GA's API.
Can I just change my email associated with my Moz account in the Login Settings to allow the correct GA accounts to feed into Moz?
Or do I have to shut down this account and reinstate my Moz account with the universal email address that has our new GA accounts?
What's the best next step here? Thanks for your guidance.

Hey there,
Thanks for the question! The drop downs when selecting your GA profile and tracking code are actually populated from Google Analytics. We wouldn't have any way of displaying old information so anything you see is what's currently delivered via GA's API.
It's possible that you have some old profiles in your GA that need to be deprecated or that Google's API has stale data in it. It's hard to say since that menu is reliant on them to send those listings.
I hope that answers your question.
Cheers,
Joel. -
Thanks for your response, RobertFisher.
The Moz account wasn't (& currently isn't) linked to our Master account that manages our Google Analytics & AdWords accounts. That may be the problem...and is what I asked Moz's Help Team in a private message.
The Google Analytics selections in Moz are not input fields...only selections in a drop-down, unfortunately. Early April 2014, we updated all our UA codes for our clients in Google Analytics...making the Account & UA code selection options in Moz outdated. We did this in order to link GA with our AdWords account. We haven't deleted our old client UA codes yet as the historical data (within the last yr) is still relevant to review, compare & analyze.
When I click "Select Another GA Account"...it links to another page that says
This app would like to:
--- have offline access | cancel | accept | (buttons)
If I end up needing to match my Moz account's email address with our Google Analytics Master account email address...is the change as easy as updating my Login Settings & Community Profile? Or is there more to it than that?

Hello Search Party
In your GA accounts have you gotten rid of the old and do you have the new in it?
We have master accounts and Moz is linked to our master. I do not remember when in the process I gave that access as I have been on Moz close to 5 years. I do know that every account and sub account are available to me via the dropdowns. Also, there is a button below the dropdowns when you are inputting the data for Select Another GA Account.
I would suggest clicking that and then providing the access.I hope this helps you out.

Our preproduction site is restricted to a specific IP range. Prelaunch I'd like to use MOZ to check the site but this obviously isn't currently possible. Is there an IP range I can whitelist ?

Does the Moz crawler have a static ip address?
We block AWS from crawling our site. Does the moz crawler use a static ip address that we could allow? I'm currently not able to add a campaign because Moz can't connect to our site.

I am new to MOZ, I set up one tracking campaign two weeks ago, I have tracked no keywords, I have done some keyword research for ranking difficulty and in two weeks I have already hit 50K pages crawled, I'm maxed out, is this common?
I am a startup and can't afford the higher plans yet. And even their highest plan is 600K pages crawled, which seems really low considering how lightly I used the tool and how quickly I hit 50K. Does anyone have any advice or information on how they use the tool on lower packages? Did I do something wrong to hit 50K pages crawled that fast? Does this pricing make any sense, it seems like an incredibly high price, I love the tool, any help is appreciated.
