OSE doesn't report backlinks from groupon.ca or tuango.ca. Is that possible?

Open Site Explorer doesn't report backlinks from groupon.ca or tuango.ca.

Is that possible?

Hey Adrien,

tuango.ca redirects to an inner page. And, that inner page has some links
For groupon.ca, I found 66K+ links.

Does this help?

How do you explain this in this Keyword Difficulty Report?

Hello here, I am trying to understand how my site virtualsheetmusic.com can better compete for the keyword "sheet music download" where we used to be 3rd until a few months ago, and now we are at the 5th spot. But here is my specific question: I can't find an explanation why two of our competitors are ranked before us at the 3rd and 4th spot. Please, look at the attached image (very wide) which shows the Keyword Difficulty Report for this keyword. You can also download a PDF of it here below: http://www.virtualsheetmusic.com/storage/keyword-sheet-music-download.pdf We are at the 5th spot, and the two competitors highlighted in pink are the ones I am talking about: I am trying to understand why they are ranking better than us, despite our metrics look much better than theirs. In fact, if I look at the metrics in the report, I can't find an explanation to justify their outrank against us, so there must be something else that the report is missing. Moz reporting incorrect ranking

Moz is reporting no ranking on one of my keywords, but when I search that keyword on Google we are on the first page. What would cause Moz to report that incorrectly?

Discrepancies in link reports from SEOMoz and OSE

Hello, I am trying to understand the link profile of my site. In the competitive analysis from SEOMoz, it shows 22K+ of links, with about 900+ being external followed links and 800+ internal. Webmaster tools shows a similar number of external followed links, but the link report from OSE only shows about 150 external followed links. This brings up several questions: Where is this 22K total links coming from? Why is there such a difference in the SEOMoz competitive analysis and the OSE report? Why does the OSE report show some links as not followed, while Webmaster tools lists them as followed? Am new to the off-page aspects of SEO, and I have to say the discrepancy in data from different tools is by far the most challenging thing for me. Would welcome general advice on this topic as well. SEO Moz ranking reports

I am confused. The SEO Moz ranking reports state that my site show show up in a specific position in SERP for a specific keyword yet when I google the keyword the ranking is different. Are these ranking reports merely indicative or are they supposed to be accurate?

Google UK rankings don't seem to be accurate.

Just a quick question - I am tracking the keyword 'chemistry teaching resources' as part of a campaign and our site comes up at number 4 on a google.co.uk search for this however in the rankings report section of our account, we are ranked at number 50 for this keyword in the 'google UK' column. Does anybody know why this would be different? It is also different for a number of other keywords in the campaign. Any help you could give would be much appreciated. Thanks

Possible to force the SEOmoz Ranking Report to update?

Hi guys, I have added about 100 keywords to my Rankings Report in SEOmoz and I'm just wondering if there is a way to force the application to get my rankings ASAP rather than waiting a while for the rankings to come through? I'm in a bit of a hurry! 🙂 Thanks. C.

If my keywords aren't driving any traffic to my site, why am I still ranking for them?

In several of our campaigns we have watched our keywords steadily climb the rankings without ever registering so much as a blip in the traffic data column. If these keywords aren't driving any traffic to our site, how are we still ranking for them?

Trifecta Report (domain)

Recently i have found that the data in the trifecta report is becoming less complete. For the last few sites i found that the report returned about half of the metrics it was looking for. For instance, it mentioned that one of the domains did not have a dmoz or wikipedia link/page even though they had both? Also, it rarely returns the Yahoo Site Explorer metrics even though when clicking to see the source the data is there? Are you guys planning on phasing out this tool, if not it seems like some work needs to be done on cleaning it up. Thanks!
