What is the difference between the Page authority and Domain authority when you do a keyword research?
thanks

Mel,
"Authority" is Moz's method of measuring strength and just like measuring a person's strength, the measurement doesn't really mean much unless/until it is used in comparison to the strength of something else. Moz's calculation of page strength, aka "page authority" provides a means for you to measure the strength of one page as compared to others and the their calculation of "domain authority" provides a means to compare one domain's strength against others. As you're learning, don't worry too much about all the technical aspects that go into calculating authority, but use the calculation simply as a comparison tool.
Now, when it comes to which of these two calculations you should pay attention to when, I usually think of it like this: if a competitor's search result for a term you are doing keyword research for is an interior page of their website (not the homepage), you'll want to think about using the "page authority" calculation to compare an interior page you're optimizing with your competitor's result. If the competitor's result for the the target keyword is their homepage, then think of using "domain" authority" to compare the strength of your two sites in order to get an idea of how much (offsite) work you'll have to put in in order to rise above them for your target keyword.

What do you do when there is significant movement when checking a Ranking & Algorithm tracking tool?
I've checked various Ranking & Algorithm tracking tools (SEMrush, Mozcast etc.) and since 12th Jan 18 there has been a lot of 'turbulence' in terms predicted Google algorithm changes. This has been 'high' for the past 2 weeks. Question is, would you 'hang tight and ride the wave' or 'act fast'? Our actual rankings haven't really been affected positively or negatively - so I'm thinking I should just ride the wave to see what happens but keep a close eye on the rankings?

Keyword explorer tool - keywords by domain functionality
Hi, We have issues with the new searching for keywords by root domain functionality in keyword explorer. We are based in Australia and need rankings for google.com.au, which is what we have set up within our MOZ campaign ranking reports. The explorer tool rankings are way off and not accurate for our site's actual rankings. Also, many of the top, high volume keywords that we are tracking and for which we rank on first page for are not even appearing when I do an explorer search using our root domain. Is the root domain functionality within keyword explorer providing results based on google.com rather than google.com.au? Does this mean that if we are outside the US that we can't use the tool as it is not accurate? Cheers, Damien

Why do I get different results with On-Page Grader and Page Optimization tool? What is the difference between these two tools?
I use the Page Optimization tool to evaluate and make updates to a page until I get a grade of "A." But when I add the page and the keyword to the Page Optimization section of my campaign, it scores a 76% or 85% (which looks like a C or B to me). What would account for the difference in the evaluation results? Thanks for your help!

A good ranking Tool to generate reports for multiple markets
Hi, Unfortunately, Moz doesn't offer any feature to generate 1 report with the multiple keywords I have across different campaigns. Since I am running around 10-11 campaigns, it's quite time consuming to create the reports manually. Could you please suggest any good tool/service that can generate a report for multiple keywords across different campaigns ?

Can the Moz tool identify variations of a Chinese language branded keyword?
We've recently started a trial of the Moz Pro service and are tracking a selection of keywords. Our primary band / product name is 功夫英语(Kungfu English), so we've set a rule that any keywords containing those four Chinese characters (功夫英语) should be marked as a branded keyword. However, in the "Non-Paid Keywords Sending Search Visits" section of our traffic report, we see a few variations on our brand name that are not being marked as branded keywords. (See attached Images). Based on our rules, shouldn't these variations also be marked as branded keywords without our needing to manually add them as such? Or have I misunderstood the intent of this rule? For the English text, the brand rule about words containing "kungfuenglish" seems to have resulted in all of "www.kungfuenglish.com", "http://www.kungfuenglish.com", and kungfuenglish being labelled as branded keywords. However, I'm not seeing the same sort of result with variations on the Chinese keyword, 功夫英语. KedTi1D.png z5bcUIt.png
