Adding videos to a website

Hello!
We are producing multiple videos (each about 1-minute long) for a company website. We have decided to use Wistia to host them, in order get the full SEO benefits of links to the videos.
I have two questions:
1. Would it definitely be better for SEO to divide up the videos and place them on the various existing pages of the site that are related to the video content, rather than putting all the videos together on a separate video page?
2. If we do put different videos on different pages, would it be a bad idea also to have a video page with all the videos together? Would this be considered duplicate content?

I agree. Option #1. And, maybe on your video page you could have links to each of the videos rather than the videos themselves in order to eliminate the duplicate content issue.
I think #1 wins.

I'd recommend going with option #1. The pages already have some history and, also, has some crawlable text content that would support the video. You may want to add a video transcription to provide additional context and crawlable text for search engines. Also remember to mark the videos accordingly (https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/2413309?hl=en) and to create and submit a valid video XML sitemap to the respective search engines.
As for the video landing page, I think it's fine if it useful to users- which I think it is. It should not present duplicate content issues if it is just a video thumbnail and short description. If you're really concerned though, you could always add unique content to the video landing page. What page copy might be useful to users who are landing on the page for the first time from a search result? How would you describe to the user what the group of videos are and what type of videos they might find? This could all be useful to users and also help to differentiate the page.

Website not ranking
Firstly, apologies for the long winded question. I'm 'newish' to SEO We have a website built on Magento , www.excelclothing.com We have been online for 5 years and had reasonable success. Having used a few SEO companies in the past we found ourselves under a 'partial manual penalty' early last year. By July we were out of penalty. We have been gradually working our way through getting rid of 'spammy' links. Currently the website ranks for a handful of non competitive keywords looking at the domain on SEM RUSH. This has dropped drastically over the last 2 years. Our organic traffic over the last 2-3 years has seen no 'falling off a cliff' and has maintained a similar pattern. I've been told so many lies by SEO companies trying to get into my wallet I'm not sure who to believe. We have started to add content onto all our Category pages to make more unique although most of our Meta Descriptions are a 'boiler plate' template. I'm wondering.... Am I still suffering from Penquin ? Am I trapped by Panda and if so how can I know that? Do I need more links removed? How can I start to rank for more keywords I have a competitor online with the same DA, PA and virtually same number of links but they rank for 3500 keywords in the top 20. Would welcome any feedback. Ranking in SERPs but not using terms on website.
As far as I know, it's not normally possible for a website to rank for a keyword that is not mentioned on the website. I have seen a website that ranks very well for key terms and yet they are not mentioned anywhere on the website, I have run advanced search & checked using tools including cloak checker on my findings. How can this be?

SEO frustration...is my website too busy?
My real estate website, www.RiverValleyGroup.com, is currently not ranked in the top-50 for any of the keywords that I am currently targeting. I am targeting keywords such as 'Louisville homes', 'homes for sale in Louisville KY', etc....I am starting to think maybe my site needs to be revamped? I'm fairly new to SEO and have no idea how to get on the 1st page of Google for targeted keywords. Please help!

Robots.txt issue for international websites
In Google.co.uk, our US based (abcd.com) is showing: A description for this result is not available because of this site's robots.txt – learn more But UK website (uk.abcd.com) is working properly. We would like to disappear .com result totally, if possible. How to fix it? Thanks in advance.

Support Videos- need Guidance
Hi, We would like to start uploading videos for support on our soon to be launched support centre interface. We wanted to know if we should use Youtube or Vimeo for something like this. From an SEO standpoint which video streaming software is better? If these videos get linked on blogs etc which video platform would give us stronger SEO juice? Awaiting your inputs

Would it be better to Start Over vs doing a Website Migration?
Hey guys /gals I have a question please. I have a computer repair business that does extremely well in search and is on the front page of google for anything computer repair related. However, I am currently re-branding my company and have completely redesigned every aspect of the UI and the SEO Site structure as well as the fact that I have completely written vastly different content and different title tag lines and meta descriptions for each page. So basically when doing a migration we know that we want to keep our content, titles, headlines and meta descriptions the same as to not lose our page rank. Seeing that I have completely went against the grain in all directions on a much needed company re-branding and everything is completely different from the old site is it even worthwhile 301 redirecting my old urls to the new ones that would (best) correspond with the new? In the plainest English, would I do better at Ranking the New Website QUICKER without doing 301 redirects from the OLD to the NEW? In an EXTREME instance like what I have done, would the Domain Migration IMPEDED me ranking the new site seeing how nothing is the same? I have build a Rock solid SILO Site Architecture on the New site which is WordPress using the Thesis Framework and the old domain is built on JOOMLA 1.5 Thank fellas Marshall

Combining 2 Websites
Any assistance/feedback is greatly appreciated. The scenario: We currently own two website, and we'd like to combine them and eliminate some expenses. Although the content is very similar in nature, it is not exact. www.KF.com that is managed by a third-party provider & www.KFA.com that is managed by the manufacturer of the product we sell. (*sites url's are not accurate) We have ended the contract of KF.com, however, this site has the best SERP/SEO.

We assume we'll take a hit, no matter what we do - however when it comes to SEO, but what is the right move to make? Do a domain "Transfer/Redirect" of KF to KFA.com or Do we simply change the KFA.com to KF.com? Still very much a rookie when it comes to this stuff. I do have the ability to SEO the KFA.com webiste. What is better for SEO - local video file or youtube video?
Should I use a video player and upload the videos for my website or should I put my videos at youtube and use youtube player?
