Duplicate content: Form labels and field content

I have a site that has 500 pages, each with unique content, the only content that could be deemed the same is the 'Make Contact' form, which has the same labels and placeholder text on each page.
Is this likely to cause any duplicate content penalties?

Hi,
No - that's not a problem. Anyway google is good at determining how things are even if you have a lot of duplicate content. And it's important to mention that there is no such thing as a Google duplicate content penalties - manual or otherwise.
Panda dose target "duplicate content" but Panda is not a penalty is a filter and it's more complex, way more then "duplicate content" .. but that's a story for another day
- anyway with a 500 pages site you are probabaly safe from panda even if you would have a lot of Panda signals...Cheers.

Hi there,
As the bulk of your content is unique I wouldn't foresee it causing a massive problem for you. If you are concerned you can always do things like run it in an iframe or just link to it on a dedicate page etc. which can help avoid the issue altogether, but a very small amount of words are nothing that will do you any major harm.

Duplicate content issues - page content and store URLs
Hi, I'm experiencing some heavy duplicate content Crawl errors on Moz with www.redrockdecals.com and therefore I really need some help. For example the general text found on this page: http://www.redrockdecals.com/caution-tow-limited-turning-radius-decal Or this page: http://www.redrockdecals.com/if-you-don-t-succeed-first-time-then-skydiving-isn-t-for-you-bumper-sticker I am planning to write new and unique descriptions for all products but what do you suggest - should I either remove the long same descriptions or just shorten them perhaps so they don't outweigh the short but unique descriptions above? I've heard search engines understand that some parts of the page can be same on other pages but I wonder if in my case this has gone too deep... Thanks so much!0 -
Duplicate Content Again
Hello Good People. I know that this is another duplicate post about duplicate content (boring) but i am going crazy with this.. SeoMoz crawl and other tools tells me that i have a duplicate content between site root and index.html. The site is www.sisic-product.com i am going crazy with this... the server is IIS so cannot use htaccess please help... thanks

Duplicate content on ecommerce
We have a website that we created a little over a year ago and have included our core products we have always focused on such as mobility scooters and power wheelchairs. We have been going through and updating product descriptions, adding product reviews that our customers have provided etc in order to improve on our SEO rankings and not be penalized by the Panda update. We were approached by a manufacturer last year about their products and they had close to 10k products that we were able to upload easily into our system. Obviously these all have standard manufacturers descriptions many sites are also using. It will take us forever to go through and change all of these and many products are similar to each other anyway they just vary in size, color etc. Will it help our rankings for our core products to simply go through and delete all of these additional products and categories and just add them one by one with unique descriptions and more detailed information when we have time? We aren't really selling many of them anyway so it won't hurt our sales. I'm clearly new to SEO and any help at all would be greatly appreciated. What are the guidelines for writing good content ?
Hello Guys I am bit confused on how to write good content. I have read so many articles where they are mentioning you have add your keyword in the first paragraph,the last paragraph and use latex words etc I am confused ! I want to create reviews that rank on the first page and stay their. Please could someone point out what are the basic guidelines for writing good content for google & users ?

Duplicate Page Title
Hi Guys, First off, it's an honour to be a part of this awesome community. I'm using WordPress and getting top 3 rankings for great keywords and I'm very excited, however my page titles are in this format "keyword optimised title here - site name here" eg: "This is my keyword - this is the name of my blog", "This is another keyword - this is the name of my blog", "This is a longtail keyword - this is the name of my blog" SEOMoz is reporting errors because of duplicate page title tags due to the "this is the name of my blog" being in every page title. Do product pages need unique content or does having duplcate content hurt on those pages?
We are adding product rapidly to our website but this requires allowing duplicate to exist on our product pages of furniture-online.com. From an SEO standpoint do we need to make this content unique for each product. Since we aren't link building to specific product pages and we don't anticipate product pages being found in a search result, are we ok leaving the duplicate content in place and spending our dollars elsewhere?
