In your report settings, did you include:
- All links
- All pages
- Pages on the root domain
- Show links ungrouped
As far as I know, this is the only way to get a full snapshot of the links indexed by OSE. If you site has multiple subdomains, you could then do a second pull of All links/All pages/Pages on the subdomain/Show links ungrouped to access all of those.
Personally, I would think its probably not worth much to have all pages because that would include internal links, too. But for the largest grab of links, you could include those to analyze your competitors internal link strategy.
Best of luck with this. But as far as I know, the above mentioned settings are the most robust way to view competitor links in OSE or anywhere else in the MOZiverse.

Fastest way to get new backlinks recognised by Moz?
Hi all, I have seen a few discussions / advice pieces around this, but wondered what the current view is on the fastest way to get new backlinks recognised by Moz? I have seen people say that the content needs to be shared (e.g. on Twitter), and advice around creating Bitly links. I am not convinced that these techniques are working. On a related note, my website is very large. I have around 2.5m pages. Most of these pages are 3-4 clicks from the home page, but I have a small amount of important content much higher up in the site (1-2 clicks from the home page). Does Moz crawl pages nearer the home page more frequently, or does it make a pass of all pages on the site before it starts at the beginning again? If it makes a complete pass of all pages, then presumably making my site smaller will help to get Moz to see new content more quickly? Is there any other value to be gained in making a large site smaller? Many thanks in advance, Neil.

Backlinks dropped in OSE
Hi Webmaster, I just checked my website backlinks In MOZ OSE (Open Sire Explorer) tool, from the recent report history, I took the following details, June 29,2014 - 775 links
Link Explorer | | zco_seo
Aug 13,2014 - 783 links
Apr 06,2015 - 861 links
Aug 10,2015 - 880 links
Sep 16,2015 - 880 links
Feb 16,2016 - 569 links
Mar 03,2016 - 672 links
Mar 23,2016 - 55 links (Only coming from blog comments, also different targeted pages, I just removed few blog & forum links, that was around 100 only) Is there any tool issue? But In Google search Console (Google Webmasters Tool) it was saying more backlinks. But, at the same time, I checked my competitors website too, they were having more links with target page only. If anyone know the answer for this, it will be good for us. Thanks in advance,
Cheers,

Why is Moz not crawling my backlinks
Hi my website www.dealwithautism.com is 3 months old and has been on DA 1 and PA1 ever since, even though the site is actively developed with quality content (a couple of posts already have 1k+ fb likes acquired editorially, while that doesnt necessarily improve SERP, it sure tells you that the post is engaging). In contrast another site of mine, www.deckmymac.com which is hardly ever managed, not have more than 15 posts and just 1 backlink, has DA 14. Running an on page analysis on www.dealwithautism.com I observed that Moz has not identified any backlinks nor social signals (except G+). However, according to Webmasters, I have 57 links, 51 of them to the root. Even Majestic is able to report 32+ backlinks. So what am I missing? Certainly, at this stage my website doesn't deserve DA 1, or does it?

Analyzing a competitor on Amazon
Hi, I'm trying to figure out how my competitor is marketing their products that are being sold on Amazon. Here's the link to the competitor http://www.amazon.com/Native-Spring-Spiral-Vegetable-Slicer/dp/B00GHA3S4C/ I checked for backlinks with OSE but only 1 link was discovered. It discovered 328 shares on FB but the shares are not shown so does anyone know of a tool or Google search to find out those posts on FB? Thanks

How Can I Check New Backlinks?
I have attempted to use Open Site Explorer to attempt to see if the work I have been doing to earn new links is working and I cannot seem to find any new links. I tried the "just Discovered" beta, but I think that relies on Twitter, which these links would not appear on. How can I effectively monitor for new links (1 week or less in age) either using a Moz tool or an external tool that shows the date each link was discovered?
