Google just ran a new Panda update targeting quality content.
It looks for words related such as synonyms and well written content. Over use of keywords will not help you it will harm you.
Google around a bit and read about Panda and quality content. It will become very clear that the methods you describe will only hurt you.
@sachin-sv also makes a very valid point that your content should be written with your users in mind. This will help with trust, if users thing your English is poor they may choose to distrust your product. A regular user has no idea why you would mention the word phone so many times.
Better ti choose your main key-phrase and a write a compelling sales paragraph such as
Our x Phone is [sales pitch] additionally we have durable cases in multiple colours available, replacement batteries, chargers and lots more..... (try using words like mobile/cell etc... and other synonyms where appropriate, the diversity will be good)
You could look for other well written sites that sell the same product and rank well in Google, take that a rewrite it with more detailed information.
This is going to work much better for you and will not get you penalised for keyword stuffing.

If you are planning to insert these keywords in your content for the sake of SEO then I would strongly suggest you to avoid this practice.
Having a keyword appear multiple times on the page does help Google to relate what the page is all about, however, stuffing the keywords unnecessarily will fade your users' experience and warn Google that you are trying to over-optimize your page for the algorithm and your site may get penalized.
I would advice you to focus more on quality of the content and try to use the keywords in optimum level. Get your content right, think about the words you want a page to be found for and use them naturally on the page. It will help you to created a solid foundation and will support all of your other SEO efforts.
Hope this helps!

YouTube SEO: Can low quality videos you posted in the past hurt your seo for future videos ?
I have a very old youtube channel (10 years maybe) with some low quality videos and a few thousands subscribers. Now I decided to give it go and make good quality videos. But one question keeps coming: maybe the fact that this channel is old and with bad videos with very low retention, this would affect the seo of the new videos ? Is it better to start a new channel from scratch ? even if its more difficult ? Thank you!

Ranking top 3 with Geographical Keyword but not on 1st page without it.
Recently I have been working to solve an issue where we rank number 2 for "Web Design Memphis" yet we do not appear on the first few pages for the keyword "web design." Several of our local competitors appear on the first page without the geo keyword. What can be done to solve this issue? I am not searching incognito and Google is recognizing my locality. Why is the competition able to rank on the first page without the geo keyword and we are not? Thanks for your feedback!

Local SEO Issue: Google Places Listing on Page 8
Hello, I'm having an issue with a client's Google Places listing. It's showing on page 8 for one of the main keyword terms but their main site is on page 1. Having looked into competitors' places listings ranking above, I've ruled out the following; lack of citations inconsistent citations incomplete profile incorrect category listing details not matching places landing page incorrect location and any form of keyword stuffing Other places listings ranking above have fewer citations, incomplete profiles, details inconsistent with their main site, one is no longer trading as a business and one has no website! In the past, our client had had two listings simultaneously but we addressed this waaaay back. Is it possible we could still be getting punished? I'm at a bit of a loss otherwise. Any thoughts would be hugely appreciated. Thankyou!

Does Local SEO affect international ranking ability?
I'm 90% sure that local SEO doesn't have an affect on international rankings (it doesn't logically make sense that it would) but I wondered if someone could verify that assertion for me, either from experience or by pointing me in the direction of a resource/article that states it. Have searched high and low but can't find anything thanks j

Video SEO: Videos in Multiple Sources
Frist time question, so excited! 🙂 We are hosting videos on Wistia for a new series we're calling Tatango University - Very similar to Whiteboard Fridays as you can tell - thanks Rand for the idea. My question, should we also be uploading the videos to YouTube or will this somehow we looked at as duplicate content or video spamming? Also, if we host them on YouTube will they always come up before our videos on our own site, therefore driving all the traffic to YouTube? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
