[No Title] in Top Pages using Open Site Explorer
-
Hello!
All of my pages contain properly formatted title tags which display in the browser. However, when I view the 'Top Pages' area of the Open Site Explorer, 99% of those pages show [No Title] in the Page Title & URL column.Does anyone know what might be causing this?

Same situation.
No data in http status
-
Hello,
I'm having the same problem with some of my URLs. Here is an example:
http://www.interfacett.com/windows-8-training
HTTP status says "no data"
These are not new pages.
Any thoughts?
Thanks!

Hi There,
After peeking into this, it looks like the reason for the no title is that the top pages we are finding links for are blocking Roger. To verify this I went into OSE then top pages and when you look to the HTTP status you will see a 301 or blocked by robots.txt. This means we are not able to access the HTML of the page so a title cannot be provided. I have provided a screen capture for your reference: http://screencast.com/t/y2mFW3AnHx7N.
Once Roger can access this information we should be able to report the title and give even more awesome information.
Hope this helps and if you have account specific questions never fear writing to help@moz.com and one of our awesome helpsters should be able to provide some additional assistance 1:1 assistance.
Have a spectacular day and may this mark the start of your next amazing adventure.

Hi Sean. The URL is http://www.eagleleather.com.au
Thanks!

Hello Brent,
I would be happy to investigate this for you. We will just need to verify the URL you are searching for in OSE, and I would be happy to take a look. If this looks like an issue on our end we will create a ticket with our engineering staff.
With a bit more information and our powers combined I am confident that we can overcome any obstacle.
Have a spectacular day and I look forward to hearing from you soon!

Unsolved Why am I not seeing search.yahoo.com in my site's backlink profile?
When looking at the backlinks for a client's competitor I found that they had a backlink on search.yahoo.com/reviews and our domain (harmonyhit.com) did not. I was using the Link Explorer tool. However, when I go to yahoo Search I see that the website of harmonyhit.com is indexed in Yahoo search and has links to the site. Also, it's sitemap has been recently crawled in Bing webmaster tools which Yahoo uses. Why does our client have the backlink accounted for and we do not?

Links to non-exisiting pages
Hi, I have tons of incoming links to target pages on my website that do not exist. If you follow the link you get a 404 error. The anchor text is always a "spammy" non related text. Does anyone know what is happening and how to get rid or block these links? Thanks, Dirk

URL column of Link Explorer reports do not have the protocol (http or https)
I exported from Link Explorer. In the URL column, there is no protocol for each URL. Isn't the protocol part of what makes a url? I'm crawling each with http:// and https:// but it feels like this info could just be in the report. Am I missing a step?

Use a National Brands name in your content
Moz Page Optimizer - content suggestions offer national name brands as KW content to rank higher. I can easily write it into our copy but is it ethical, even with a statement like: "This is not a Fathead product" of "the same as the Fatheads seen on TV" I say no, but curious to get my Mozzers feedback KJr

Open Site Explorer Problem
Have been trying to use Open Site Explorer this morning and just returning an error message "There was an error getting your data" or the cog whirring round for ages and not doing anything. Is it a general problem or is it just my PC?

Inbound Links - How accurate or up-to-date is Open Site Explorer?
When I type my domain into OSE I get a list of linking domains. Most of them I have seen before and I know were active last year. However, when I click through, many of these links have been removed (which is what I wanted/requested) and some of the pages return 404. Google (via link:www.mydomain.com) doesn't show these links as active either. My question is why does OSE show them? Thanks

Hi, I run the website www.abackpackerstale.com ,and for some reasons opensite explorer is only showing 10 internal links, and a 200 and something external links. How can I fix this as I am sure it is hurting my DA authority, and overall site score. Thanks! Stephen

Is there an option that's more precise over Open Site Explorer?
I've had folks explain to me before that OpenSiteExplorer is just an estimation, etc. but there are some fairly easy statistics that seem to be different and it makes me nervous that either its wrong or I'm doing something wrong. As you can see in the image, moz isn't read social metrics correctly. It actually used to be pretty spot on, but as you can see with Google+'s its off. Maybe not a big deal right? But for my clients new Moz Analytic print outs it makes somewhat of a difference. Any help? UlwQs3w
