ROS Outbound Social Links vs Connect Page with Social Feed?

A client wants to include social media icons in their footer. Instead of linking to facebook, Google+, etc they would like to link to a page with social feeds from their networks. Are there any SEO implications to doing this?

Not so much SEO implications, although you may want to noindex the page if the only content shown will not be unique (i.e. you're copying the content you post on social to your website).
I would be more concerned about the implications on the users. If I click a social icon it is normally because I want to go to the social property. If doing that on your site takes me to a page that has your newsfeed, but I need to make another click to get to your FB profile it would annoy me mucho.

New FaceBook Fan Page Call To Action Button !
Hi On one of my projects FB fan pages ive been given option to create a CTA button such as 'Shop' 'Contact Us' 'Watch Video' etc etc However on another projects FB fan page i logged in to try and set up for too and not being given the option although has many thousands more fans than the page i had been offered it for !1 Does anyone know how new this option is and likely reason only being offered it for a low fan number page and not pages with high fan numbers ? Spammy Facebook Page Penalty
In general search, I've noticed a handful of businesses who's facebook pages outrank their websites by a lot. Whenever I've looked into it, usually the FB pages have a bunch of spammy links, whereas the website (that isn't ranking well) doesn't. However, I am curious of two things: 1. Are FB pages like the ones I'm describing somewhat "immune" to penalties because their DA is so high? 2. Does this strategy end up hurting the business's website, if there's a link to it from the spammy FB page? Thanks, Ruben

Which wordpress pluggin would you advice for related posts and for social share
Which wordpress pluggin for my website would you advice for related posts and for social share that won't slow to much page speed? I had shareolic but with de new wordpress update MySql database went slow although page speed was not affected it produces a biggest consumption of the database making editing post very slow so i desativated and now i am looking for similar o all one one pluggins that uses related posts and related pages. And a social share pluggin also. Any advice? Wich one do you use on your website?

Crawling of Social data
Just a quick inquisitive question. Websites like Facebook and Twitter arent public, they obviously allow a page title and snippet of account info in search results. So how are is social metrics gathered as regards to Tweets or Shares or Likes etc. in crawling data gathering? Would this give some insite how best to share social media too?

Hi There, Just wondering if you guys (and girls) think that your links to social media accounts be followed or nofollow? This includes sitewide header/footer links and other text links littered throughout the site. Includes Twitter, FB, Pinterest and G+ specifically (for my site anyway). Thanks in advance!

How does SEOMoz Code its Social Badge on Blog
On the blog section (and most other pages of the site) there is a social badge on the right hand side of the page where it shows the number of followers on Twitter, FB fans, etc. How does SEOMoz pull those numbers? It seems like its not using the normal Javascritps supplied by FB and Twitter, Feedburner. Thanks

Do facebook shares pass share juice the same way links pass link juice?
If i have a page on my domain say PAGE-A and let's say it's located at: http://www.mydomain.com/something/page-a and this page has quite a lot of page authority from many many inbound links. It is my understanding that if i "sculpt" the internal links on PAGE-A to point at only my primary targets, let's call the PAGE-B, PAGE-C, and PAGE-D; then those pages would gain some benefit from this link juice flowing through. Consider a similar situation where i have a page, say PAGE-F located at: http://www.mydomain.com/anotherpage/page-F and page-F gets 150 facebook shares. would the links on page-F pass this benefit on in any way? Or is only the direct target of the facebook share gaining benefit from this facebook sharing? Furthermore, lets consider a scenario where there are 30 or 40 similar pages like PAGE-F all with links out to my primary targets. Would these primary targets gain anything as these 30 or 40 pages gained facebook shares? Repeat above question, replace 'facebook' with 'twitter'. repeat again for 'google+' ?
