Improve Page Authority or Domain Authority
-
I am very confused as to the practical implementation of these 2 terms PA and DA.
I have a website and i want to rank a particular page.
So to rank it at the top, should i have more backlinks of page** or **more backlinks of my Homepage.
Does more back links of a particular page improves only PA or (PA & DA) both ?

I would give the following a good read
Domain Authority - http://moz.com/learn/seo/domain-authority
Page Authority - http://moz.com/learn/seo/page-authority
In summary:
"Whereas Page Authority measures the predictive ranking strength of a single page, Domain Authority measures the strength of entire domains or subdomains."
You need to focus on overall SEO, develop good quality links to your site (which is typically the homepage) and if you get a break you'll get some links to the directory your looking to link to which will further boost your directory. don't focus on the directory and forget the rest of the site.

Can I view Domain Authority stats for longer than the previous 12 months?
When you view the DA chart, it goes back 12 months. There is no apparent way to see any data before that. I searched the Q&A but see no other similar questions. Any insight?

Moz says my pages don't have rel="canonical" but they do
Hi, I've just had my initial report from Moz and it says my pages are missing rel="canonical". I'm using the Yoast SEO plugin on my WordPress site which adds these automatically. I have also checked the source code for my pages and can see rel="canonical". What has gone wrong please?

New non-www. web address but the domain is the same
Hi Everyone, we're launching a new WP website that has a non-www. web address. Old address www.1to1therapy.ca, new address http://1to1therapy.ca. A re-direct has been created for the www. address. It appears that this is causing an issue for the Moz page crawler. It is currently only crawling 1 page. I will set up a new campaign. BUT As best practice should I set up all new google analytics on http://1to1therapy.ca? It appears that the analytics are functioning correctly, but I'm unsure if any issues may arise from the change.

So the page-grader is giving my site an A, but it is ranking below some websites that the grader gives an F to. What is the point of the page grader?
Basically, I am new to this..very new. In fact, my field was neuroscience, and now I work in marketing.. I just started using seomoz, and for one website that I build. I followed all of the guidelines moz has to offer. On the grade section, I got an for a specific keyword. However, when I rate my site for that keyword, it does not even rank in the top 50. The keyword is even in the domain! Also, some sites that rank in the top 25 have an F rating for the same keyword. Why do they rank higher?

Duplicate page titles reported on same links
Moz is reporting duplicate titles on my clients website, citing different versions of the same link, one without dubs as domain.com/link and the other with dubs as www.domain.com/link. for example ... duplicate title = Warranty Requests For Custom New Home Construction in Jacksonville

http://www.myhjhome.com/index.php is this just something that's always going to be reported as a duplicate title or is there a way for me to change the website so Moz doesnt report a duplicate title on the same page (since there really isnt a duplicate title in these examples)?0 -
How does MOZ assign a keyword to a page in the On Page Grades by Keyword Ranking
I'm in the beta analytics tool. In the On Page Optimization > On Page Grades by Keyword section, there is a Keyword column with a keyword assigned to each URL on my site. http://analytics.moz.com/search/on-page/572409.326269 How is the keyword that is shown here decieed upon? Is it simply based on a guess of the "best keyword" for each page based on kwp density and other factors? Can I map a new keyword to each page? or at least to my top ten most important pages? I see I can check the grade for any keyword on any page here: http://analytics.moz.com/search/manage-page-grades/572409.326269. I want to map my top ten pages to ten keywords - can I save these changes in the system so I don't have to manually check a keyword/url match each time? Shaun
