Hi!

I'm wondering if not having a cookie warning message in a web may be a reason for google algorithm to penalize SEO. (we're talking about a european website)

Does anybody know it it is so?

I completely agree with Massimiliano. There's absolutely no reason why you should receive any kind of penalty for this.

Ajax tabs and seo and sitemap

I am in the process of simplifying my website so that there are tabs in each section which load dynamically by ajax all of the subpages.Each subpage has funny url with a hashtag.
Does this mean each page does not have its title , or metatags?, Is this bad for seo?. Many of these pages have only a paragraph of text. I also am making a sitemap which links to the pages as a normal page. Would this mean I have a duplicate content issue with seo?.

Does Google penalize a page with the image tag with alt and without src?

Hi, I am curious whether Google penalizes a page with the image tag with a value in the "alt" attribute and without one in the "src" attribute? Would this count as stuffing? Sometimes you cannot put an image but you would like to get SEO benefit by having a keyword in an image?

Trying to SEO a site that used Header Tags for Design

I am trying to SEO a website that was built years ago and uses Header tags for design. The site must have 25 and tags used for design purpose. Is there any way to work around this problem? Perhaps a code that tells Google to ignore these as Headers? The web designers say that they are looking to fix the problem sometime this summer but you never know if that means it a month away or years away. I really want to help this website but I believe that the Header tags are one of the reasons that his site does not show in the top 100 rankings for any keywords. Please review page for on page SEO

I'm working on an adult dating site review blog and am hoping to build links to the category pages. It's a wordpress blog so the posts are categorised by topics. However can you tell me if there is enough content on the page for google to identify what the page is about? The problem is that the content of each category pages is pulled from the posts. What I think is needed is some static text on the page 2-300 words that use the keyword. Here's an example of a page targeting the keywords 'online dating'. http://www.top-10-dating-reviews.com/category/online-dating/

Seo-friendly way to post blog content to homepage?

We have an e-commerce website. We would like to feature content from our blog on the site's homepage (both on same domain). The content we want to feature is latest posts titles (say 5) plus the few first lines from each post. We want search engines to be able to read this content. Should I include a "|" for better page title SEO results?

I have seen many sites that include the "|" in page titles and was wondering if there is some SEO value in the practice. Example: Product Name | Company Name Instead of: Product Name by Company Name I have not seen any value in it myself other than a good way to avoid stop words. I wanted to make sure. Currently I have the "by" included in the page titles.
