Is it possible to move a couple of posts and comments from one WP domain to another

Hi,
We want to move a couple of dozen articles from one of our self-hosted wordpress website to another self-hosted Wordpress website. Is there a way to this such that the following content is also included in the migration:
1. Post content (including images and meta if possible)
2. CommentsDo note the older site from which we want to move out the content has more than 2000 posts and we just want to move 60-70 posts.

I literally did this, we had 1500 domains and I had to condense them all down into one two things to note:
- If you are moving Wordpress content into a clean Wordpress install make sure you copy the MySQL database to the new site and change the wp-config file so that it reflects the database that you want to use.
- If you are moving Wordpress content into an existing Wordpress install it might be easier to just manually edit them. I found that pulling text and importing them into something like TextWrangler allowed me to make sure all the formatting was correct, although the WYSIWYG is good, its not perfect. From there I just uploaded all of my pictures, pasted the new formatted text into the Wordpress text editor and added the photo!

It is possible to use plugins like https://wordpress.org/plugins/wordpress-importer/
You would backup the required content from the 2000+ site,
Upload it to the new one,
Remove all but the ones you wanted to keep (Depending on the plugins is depending on how isolated you can make the backup)
Remove the 60+ post from your original sitePlugins like this do indeed preserve meta, images and comments etc,
Attached is a screenshot showing how you can limit the export so you can hopefully target your content enough that you will be able to export exactly what you need and no more.Kind Regards

Manufacturer, New Direct-to-Consumer Site (Separate Site, or Sub-Domain?)
Hi All! Working with an established manufacturer, been around for many years, it's an internationally known brand, and their products are sold by thousands on distributors. They recently started a new website (separate from their old established B2B manufacturer site) which will be used to sell direct to customer. The new site is great, with a nice responsive design, clean look, flexible, etc. The problem is, it's a new site with low Domain Authority. The manufacturer's B2B site has been around a while, very high Domain Authority. So, I'd like to be able to harness all the link equity they've build instead of trying to optimize a brand new site. The problem with this old established site is that it IS in fact old. The design is terrible, it's not responsive, old code, bad look and feel, etc. We could incorporate the new B2C site (which has its own CMS) into a sub-domain, like store.site.com. But, I'd worry that site.com's crapiness will limit growth potential for the new pages at store.site.com. Same issue were we to add the new site into a sub-folder, like site.com/store/. On the other side, we could just keep the new site, with it's own domain, sitestore.com, and have product pages and/or category pages from the manufacturer's B2B site link to the relevant pages on the new B2C site. Converting to WP - Should I add .html or 301?
Moving my site to WP and the old url structure pages end in ".html". I have seen there are plugins that allow you to add .html to the WP pages to preserve links. I am hosting on Synthesis and they do not support htaccess, although you can submit 301 re-directs through the help ticket system. My question is what is the best way to proceed? I have read that 301s "leak" some link juice, but I sure do like those pretty urls. Advice appreciated!

For a new business which would be the best domain name?
I'm starting a new business selling Whitby Jet and I want to buy the best domain name which will help me in the search engines, I want to use the keywords in the domain name because it think it will help when people link to the website, but whitbyjet.com and whitbyjet.co.uk have both been taken. I could be wrong I think .com is generally thought of as the best and I don't really like the idea of .net or .org So maybe I might have to choose the third word which tends to make the doamin a little bit longer like whitbyjetjewlery.co.uk. Any suggestions would be greatly received.

Entering different but related industry, keep it on the same domain or new domain?
We rank well across many online furniture keywords within google.ie here in Ireland, this is our core business and it is successful. Now we want to branch out into the related field of "kitchens". So the question is do we setup a new domain (a sister site) or keep it on the same domain with a new sub category. So the main categories off the home page would be: Sofas Bedroom Furniture Dining Furniture Kitchens I know all the benefits of keeping to the one domain (the domain has age, and already has DA of 30 with many landing pages with PA from 30 to 49), so for the short term SEO angle keep it on the same domain. But from a Branding perspective this is not a great approach. Is it better to have a dedicated domain/site for kitchens (and the bonus of having a keyword match in the domain)? We are always thinking longer term so we see this as a 3 year plan outwards rather than a get rich quick. There is an additional overhead of course with managment of the domain, templates SSL, PCI etc etc and we are conscious that a new domain is not a easy route to success. Looking at the top 10 for the main keywords within the "kitchen" keyword cloud most if not all are dedicated kitchen sites, or kitchens are the main business so their homepage is there kitchens landing page. The competition in the google.ie space have 20-30 DA and PAs roughly 30 being the highest DA, we are thinking that this has not a huge challenge to overcome? Changing a domain for local.
I have a client that currently is using a sub-domain site from our local news paper site. The domain authority looks huge, but it is not really their own domain. I know in the log run it best to change the domain name. I am afraid of a significant drop in Google Places traffic when I change to a new domain. Has anyone dealt with type of situation?
