New v Returning in Google Analytics with Adwords
-
I am trying to figure out an issue with Google Analytics. What i am stumped on is I see traffic from AdWords coming in (accounts linked) and I see new v returning user.
Does the return visit still show even if a user came back in via direct or organic?
Or is it that these return visits are clicking on the ad again to come back as visits and clicks match in the reports?
-
Thank you Bevelwise that makes sense.

These returning visitors are not necessarily coming from the same source. These users may have come through organic, direct or referral sources. Then on their 2nd+ visit they went through an Adwords Ad. The same user may have also clicked on multiple Adwords Ads as long as they do it naturally and the click doesn't get filtered by Google's click fraud algo.

Is there way to have several AdWords Ad for the same keyphrase?
Hi guys. Can I have 2-3-4 ads come up for the same keyphrase? The situation is: I'm bidding for client's company name, there is no other competition (nobody else bids for client's company name), I'm bidding only for exact match and phrase match. Is there way to have, let's say 4 ads come up when somebody searches for exact matched company name? P.S. I know it's weird question, all this is done under reputation management for this company, I'm trying to occupy as much space at the top of the 1st SERPs, so people don't see ROR article in organic position #4. If you have other suggestions - please feel free to put it here. (SEO is being done, not-index pages are being optimized to try to come up as several organic results, backlink building is in process, Social media profiles are being optimized as well). I'm just trying to have some temporary "fix".

Return of investment on spend on google adwords
Hi Running an adwords campaign for a builders/construction company namely double glazing what sort of return of investment could I expect to get on a return of £4000 per month? I know its a million dollar question but any insight or thoughts would be appreciated, especially on tracking ROI for example in this case it's just leads via a contact form on potential conservatory, windows or doors work which would be followed up via phone and an onsite visit.

Adwords enhanced campaigns - Specify alternate destination URLs
Morning Mozzers, I am setting up a new campaign for a client, they would like to target mobile devices which evidently i can no longer do with enhanced campaigns; however i have increased the Mobile bid as much as possible and set the default CPC low to try and minimise appearance in desktop search. The client has a desktop and a mobile version of the destination page but the site will not direct users to the correct page based on their device as they are two separate domains. As such i want to know if i can specify an alternate destination URL for an ad in Adwords based on if the click comes from a mobile or desktop device? The other option is to set all my Ads within the Adgroup to have mobile as the device preference and just use the mobile landing page, but not sure if there is a neater solution here? Thanks, Tom.

Adword competition between exact match and related broad match
If I have two company A and B. Company A: bid on key word exact [Nike and Jordan] Company B: bid on broad match Jordan shoesks Considering that broad match use related words I noted that google display both ads if I search Nike and Jordam (shoes is related with Nike). My question is: bid of B is competing with bid of A? therefore CPC of A increase because of B? Tks

Is a $100 adwords credit appropriate here
Hello, A long time ago we set up an Adwords campaign for our company on my sister's personal Adwords account. My sister would like us to set up a new account under a business email for the new Adwords keyword research we want to do. Is using a $100 coupon appropriate for our new account? I honestly don't want to use it if it's against Google's policy. And is there anything else I need to keep in mind as far as fees or requirements in setting up a new account and/or using the coupon? Thanks!

Keyword quota exceeded! Need help with Adwords Strategy
Hello, I was playing around with my Adwords and received a nice message from Google saying "Keywood Quota exceed". Basically I have too many keywords. That made me wonder if I could organize my keywords better. I sell tractor parts online. The majority of traffic is from people putting the part number into Google i.e 0J51MP5ON . It therefore made sense to use the manufactures SKU as keywords. The problem is that we have 30,000 keywords and will be moving to 100,000 - which above the Google limit. Each keyword links to the appropriate page on the website i.e. 0J51MP5ON goes to the 0J51MP5ON page. To make things simpler I could cut down on keywords by redirecting all parts starting with 0J5 to a 0J5 landing page for parts being with 0J5. The would be from the same Tractor manufacturer. However, I am worried this will reduce conversation rates. It will make it easier to manage the keywords. Anyone got any better suggestions?
