My website Moz Page Authority
-
My website is Best Comedy Tickets. The current homepage has a Page Authority is 41, mR : 4:53 and
Domain Authority is 31. However all my sub pages are basically non existent. All the other pages on the site
are a Page Authority of 1, mR : 0.00. Why is this and how do I increase this ? Are there any tips or tricks to
increase subpages ? I appreciate all the feed back and am grateful for any tips or helpful advice.

Hi Joseph! These are both good answers, but I want to add that a PA of 1 often means that our crawler isn't reaching those pages, or that there are no inbound links to them.
Sure enough, when I looked your site up in Open Site Explorer, I saw that the subpages all show that we don't have data.
If you haven't had the chance to look up those pages in OSE, here's the advice the tool returns:
- Check your URL for typos or other errors. Did your URL cut off or contain the wrong punctuation?
- Check out the site's navigation. Sometimes it takes multiple index updates for us to discover pages that aren't linked to from the site's primary navigation. A simple fix is to create a link to the URL from another page on the website.
- The Mozscape index is still growing. Keep in mind that, while large, our index doesn't cover the entire web. If you have a smaller site it's possible we haven't crawled the domains linking to it. Search the pages linking to yours to see if we have indexed their links. If you need help with link building, check-in with our Q&A community.
If you don't see any inbound links to this page:
- Make sure we're not blocked from crawling this URL or site. If our web crawlers are blocked from crawling certain pages (i.e., with "noindex" or Robots.txt), they may not be included in the index.
Does that help at all?

Hello Joseph,
Well, I agree with Alick but I wanna add some extra info
I recently noticed at one of the blogs I'm taking care of (DA of RD is 37), that after 3 years many posts with a lot of content, SEO friendly and seeming normal... still have PA=1 (strange right??). I decided to study and analize the whole blog (350 posts more or less), and... here it goes my results:
- Posts with a lot of words (1,000+ words) SEO-optimized, social OK... BUT no internal inbound links ==> PA=1
- Posts with a lot of words (1,000+ words), SEO-optimized, social OK AND 1 to 3 internal inbound links ==> PA=11 - 20
- Posts with a normal amount of words (400+ words), SEO-optimized and social OK and 3+ internal inbound links ==> PA=20+
So, we were doing everything BUT missing the most important
Maybe you can adapt my conclusions into your case
Now, things go much better for this blog!!!
Luis

Hi Joseph,
I presume that you know what is page authority.I am quoting moz on this "Page Authority is difficult to influence directly. It is made up of an aggregate of metrics (MozRank, MozTrust, link profile, and more) that each have an impact on this score."
"The best way to influence this metric is to improve your overall SEO. In particular, you should focus on your link profile—which influences MozRank and MozTrust—by getting more links from other well-linked-to pages."
Please check this to know more on this @ http://moz.com/learn/seo/page-authority
Thanks

What are the SEO implications of high quality backlinks from US-based websites to UK-based websites?
Hi everyone, quick question I hope someone could help me with: We're representing a client based in the UK. As part of their overall strategy we've been linkbuilding. At the moment, about 80/90% of the links we've gained come from UK-based sites, with 10/20% coming from US-based websites. The US based websites are very good (think New York Times and genuine, relevant blogs with good readerships). An external search analyst/consultant has contacted the client to say that the US links will be harming the site, because the links are from websites in the US and not the UK. We believe that if 80/90% of the links were from the US this could indeed cause harm as it could indicate to search engines that our client is in the US when it's not (which might compromise their chance of ranking in .co.uk versions of search engines) however because it's only 10/20%, and because the linking sites are very good, we believe that they will getting all of the benefits of the positive metrics without any meaningful negatives. We just wanted to get a few opinions on this to see if people think that we're mistaken, and would be glad to hear any opinions contrary to our own.

Reject a link from a not found page
Hello, I am writing because I have a question about link building. My page has got a link from this URL http://fundacionbanesto.com/ (PageRank 6) but I know that it no longer exists. Do you think it is negative for my site? Should I reject it? Thanks in advance.

Company on top website, no hyperlink
Hi - my company's name and website have been mentioned on 3 major websites but there is no hyperlink. Does this totally destroy any SEO value of these mentions? So disappointing, since it's hard to ask a reporter to include a hyperlink / they usually can't.

What to do about bad backlinks hurting authority?
My site has many backlinks from 208.109.47.246/* and go.diaodou.com/* which have low authority. The 208.109.47.246 I believe is my godaddy IP and I don't know why I have the diadou links. Is there anything I can do about these links other than building other more reputable links? Could switching hosts or going to a dedicated IP solve the 208.109.47.246 issue? Here is a look at the links- http://www.opensiteexplorer.org/www.mueslifusion.com%252F/a!links Thanks,

Minimum desired for Domain Authority and Page Authority
I see messages and threads talking about the less importance on PageRank and more importance on Domain Authority and Page Authority. As I work on our link building, do I steer away from low DA and PA websites? If so, whats the minimum threshold I should stay away from? If I see a site that has a Domain Authority as low as 9 - is that the minimum? What is? What do you think?
