Is linkdetective.com officially dead? Does anyone know of any inexpensive tools that we can use to classify link types, e.g. resource link, blogroll, sidebar, etc. for link building?

Getting Links

Hi, Links from Directories are bad. Links for low quality sites are bad. Paid links are bad. Guest blogging is "maybe rumor has it" google's next big Penguin. Are links with space considered to be the same as links with %20?

Link over-building?

Hello all. One of the first things we do for our clients is to claim their local listings, include them on a set of selected directories (8-10), and blog directories (5), if applicable. Since they will all be linked to the client site, could doing all of this at once run us into problems with unnatural link growth? Thanks! Frank

My question is what´s best of Link Building: have it in main page or in internal Link Pages. I have the problem that have to reduce the number of outgoing links in my mainpage to rank better, but do not want to miss any linkjuice.
