Hi there, I am running joomla based website for my transportation website "Limousine Service" I have question what kind of software or tools i can use to improve the SEO on my site?

thanks bro for getting back to me. i made so much changes. in site. i made a new one because old one had lots of hidden links from spam sites. it is better and i am using new domain name short one than before. and i redirect the old one to new one now i got a lot 404 errors on webmaster tools. and lost the domain authority and external links. please check www.bassilimousine.com

Hi, Sorry i missed your response,
I think in general terms rather then me listing everything here, you should follow Patrick's advice as a start and come back once your done with all that as you will have a much improved base for further adjustment.
SEO is not a quick process, it can take months to get a good foundation if not longer, so keep that in mind when your making changes.

Hi there
I would take a look at the on-site SEO link I sent over in my last comment. There is a lot of room for optimization on your website. Specifically look at:
- Title tags - Utilize branding in your titles and clean up keyword over optimization.
- URL structure - You have index.php in every one of your URLs.
- Internal linking - You link to your homepage a LOT on your Services page. Also, when you click the Services drop down and go down to Events, you can click any of the items in the sub navigation - this is a terrible user experience and needs to be fixed as soon as possible. Also, take a look at Information Architecture for SEO.
- Content audit - Your Fleet page has nothing on it.
- Backlink audit - Your metrics are pretty low in Majestic and it looks like there has been some pretty spammy link building done in the past - most of your links are from ccTLD (which makes no sense because you do business in the Bay Area, not Australia or Eastern Europe) and directories. Run through those and remove toxic, spammy, or irrelevant links.
Lastly, and this is super important to fix, you have multiple websites for your business with duplicate content:
All of which point links to www.bassilimousineservice.com. Delete these sites, run through the backlinks, remove links to these sites that are toxic and update good links to point to www.bassilimousineservice.com. This is a major reason your site is probably not performing well for certain local searches - lots of spam going on.
I would prioritize this by deleting these duplicate sites & removing or updating links, doing on-site cleanup and optimization for Bassi Limousine Service, and then build citations through Moz Local or Whitespark. You have a long road in front of you, but this will all help you in the long run.

A couple of improvements i can suggest straight off:
You need to redirect all non-www traffic to www. or vice versa. Currently so far as google can see, you have 2 different websites, one on http://bassilimousineservice.com/ and one on http://www.bassilimousineservice.com/
Your URL structure needs to be improved,for example: http://www.bassilimousineservice.com/index.php/services/rates.html
Should be something like: http://www.bassilimousineservice.com/services/rates

Joomla SEO Checklist 5 Essential SEO Tips for Joomla You Must Know 5 Awesome Joomla SEO Plugins That Google Will LoveSince you are running a service, I would also check your local SEO and make sure that you audit your listings and citations. A couple of great services to help you with your local SEO include Moz Local and Whitespark - I suggest checking those out.
I would also look at your on-site SEO and make sure that you have all of your bases covered, taking advantage of all the opportunities that you can - there are a ton of great pointers and resources in that link.

Rebranding with the same website
Hello, I like to rebrand my site for the same URL - How can i do this?

Client wants to rebrand but insists on keeping their old website live as well...
I am working with a client in the dental space that has an existing (11 year old) website for his practice. His domain is tied to his last name, which he would like to get away from because he plans to sell the practice in the next couple years. Backstory: Prior to taking him on, he was working with an SEO agency out of India that were built him quite an ugly backlink profile. Once we discovered it, we immediately notified him about the risk of a penalty if left alone. He was riding high in Google SERP's so of course, it was of no concern to him. Needless to say about a year ago he was inducted into Google's "manual penalty club" for suspicious links. His site vanished in Google and all! Hooray! But no, not really... We met with him to discuss the options, suggesting we clean up his backlink profile, then submit for reconsideration. Based on the time we told him it could take to make progress and be back up and running, he wasn't very excited about that approach. He said he wanted us to rebuild a new site, with a new domain and start fresh. In addition, he wanted keep his original site live since it is tied to his already thriving practice. To sum it all up, his goal is to keep what he has live since his customers are accustom to using his existing (penalized) website. While building a new brand/website that he can use to build a cleaner backlink profile and rank in Google as well as to sell off down the line without having his name tied to the practice. Question: Being that he has an existing site with the company NAP info throughout and the new site will also have the same NAP (just a different domain/brand), is there a "best way" to approach this? The content on the new site would be completely unique. I understand this approach is iffy but in his situation it makes sense to some extent. Any feedback or ideas on how to best handle having two sites running for the same dental practice? I have a client in Australia that is going to set up a website that is in Chinese to service their Asian customer base (Indonesia, Singapore, HK, China). What domain should they use?
They're website is hosted on a .com.au domain. Should they host their Chinese language pages under their current domain (.com.au) using a subdirectory (i.e. /asia) or should they use another separate domain that they own that is a regular .com? Or does it really not matter?

Optimizing Local SEO for Two Locations
Hi there! I have a client that has just opened a 2nd location in another state. When optimizing for local I have a few questions: We're creating a landing page for each location, this will have contact information and ideally some information on each location. Any recomendations for content on these landing pages? The big question is dual city optimization. Should Include the city & state of BOTH locations in all my title tags? or should I leave that to the unique city landing pages? What other on-page optimizations should i consider across the site? How to approach SEO for a national website that has multiple chapter/location websites all under different URLs
We are currently working with a client who has one national site - let's call it CompanyName.net, and multiple, independent chapter sites listed under different URLs that are structured, for example, as CompanyNamechicago.org, and sometimes specific to neighborhoods, as in CompanyNamechicago.org/lakeview.org. The national umbrella site is .net, while all others are .orgs. These are not subdomains or subfolders, as far as we can tell. You can use a search function on the .net site to find a location near you and click to that specific local website. They are looking for help optimizing and increasing traffic to certain landing pages on the .net site...but similar landing pages also exist on a local level, which appear to be competing with the national site. (Example: there is a landing page on the national .net umbrella site for a "dog safety" campaign they are doing, but also that campaign has led to a landing page created independently on the local CompanyNameChicago.org website, which seems to get higher ranking due to a user looking for this info while located in Chicago.) We are wondering if our hands are tied here since they appear to be competing for traffic with all their localized sites, or if there are best practices to handle a situation like this. Thanks!

Website Migration - remove unnecessary sub-folder?
Rebuilding a site that currently has good rankings. The original site was build in Joomla. I am doing the rebuild on WordPress. The old site is at the domain www.savannah-dentist.com, but clicking on any link generates a url with a subfolder; i.e. the website is at www.savannah-dentist.com, click on the logo and you will go to www.savannah-dentist.com/rosenthal/, the "meet the doctors" link goes to "www.savannah-dentist.com/rosenthal/meet-the-doctors" When I rebuild the site, do I have to retain that url structure? If I get rid of the folder and make everything simply like www.savannah-dentist.com/meet-the-doctors, will I be jeopardizing our rankings? Thanks! -Adam

Where to find documentation about UX for Chinese websites?
Does anyone know useful websites, blogs, blogposts or forums about how UX is different in China? We are planning on creating a Chinese version of our ecommerce website. We are already aware of the legal and cultural differences but we still require specific information about the browsing and clicking habits of the Chinese public. Also, figures about the Chinese buying behavior would come in handy. Our webshop contains design items intended for a high-end audience.
