Move a blog from a domain to a new domain in the same hosting server

I have the need to find the best solution to move my viverezen.org blog on new domain naturazen.org because somebody stolen my brand. Now I registererd brand NaturaZen and I am going to use this website as main and have the old viverezen just to point in the new website
I dont want lose autority and more important I dont want lose the 500 visits I have everyday.
Both domain are under same hosting company
What is best SEO solution you can give me to help?
I thought to point the hosting on new domain naturazen and put all link with redirect 301 on viverezen but probably I am wrong

Great input by Ken, wanted to embellish. 301 redirects are key (talk with your developer or host on best way with your setup on how to implement) Google Search Console actually has a "change of address" option to help you migrate. There is also a step by step tutorial https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/6033049?hl=en

I think you are correct in that you need to do a 301 redirect from the old site to the new one. If the pages are the same between the two domains I believe something like the following in your htaccess would work:
RewriteEngine on
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ http://newdomain.com/$1 [R=301,L]I am not an htaccess expert, so try before you buy!Good luckKen

Hi, I am running a wordpress site and our blog has grown to have a bit of a life of its own. I would like to use a more blog-oriented wordpress theme to take advantage of features that help with content discoverability, which is what the current theme I'm using doesn't really provide. Single domain or a subfolder?
One of my clients is wondering whether they should move they stand alone business website to a subfolder of their brand website. For example, from http://www.johnlewisforbusiness.com to http://www.johnlewis.com/business. Do you guys think it's a good idea from SEO point of view? Can you recommend any articles on this? Best way to move the content to a different domain without inviting any SERP penalty?
Hi all, We are in a bit of a fix right now. We have around 60-70 articles (Wordpress pages / posts) that we intend to move to another domain of ours. What's the best way to do so such that we do not invite any Google penalty. Here's a detailed information about our case:

Let's say, our site example.com has more 2000 articles. To help us better position our content for one of the sections on example.com, we have started another website, example2.com and want to move those 60-70 articles from example.com to example2.com. What is the best way to do it such that we are not penalised by Google? Is it (a) Move all the said content (60-70 articles) from example.com to example2.com and (b) do a permanent redirect (301) of each of the older article URLs to newer article URLs. How to move domain content w Penguin Penalty?
Hey guys, I've come to the conclusion the sheer amount of crap links a site of ours has is un repairable. We own a .net version with the same brand name so I'm planning to move our ecommerce store over with all its content. I can move the site in one swoop but I believe Google will see it as duplicate content if we don't allow the old site to de index first. I would simply take it down for a month but we still get some orders now and then. Anyone have any ideas? I was thinking of leaving an image up on each page that is no index no follow linked to the new site that explains the site is being moved, etc.

Website domain hosting and set-up for foreign domains?
Hi, I am just wondering what the best practice is for marketing a business in two separate countries? I have a new client that wants me to create their website targeted at the UK market which for me is normal but they also want to target Australia (Probably couldn't get any further away) My initial thoughts are that the business would need two separate websites. The first one in the uk and the second website hosted on servers in Australia with different content. Is this correct? or does anyone have any advice which may simplify getting this thing off the ground. Thanks in advance.

E Commerce Blogging
I have an E commerce site that I want to boost search rank for. I had taken some else's advice and created a wp blog on a different url then created content around the products we offer and linked back to the main site using the specific keyword in anchor text. I just joined seomoz earlier this month. It seems like the main consensus here as far to install the blog in the domain.com/blog and I just did that. So now when I create content for that blog should I just link back to the specific categories and or products then? Should I be aware of duplicate content issues? So if the product is widgets and I am talking about widgets in the blog, or blog title, could they be competing or helping the main URL?

Frame forwarding my blog

Last blog question for a while, I promise! 🙂 The annoying folk behind my website say that the only way for my blog to be at http://www.celynnenphography.co.uk/blog would be to frame forward it, because of how they are hosting, managing it etc Is this an acceptable and useful thing regarding SEO?
