Are breadcrumbs still relevant with interlinking?

Are keyword rich breadcrumbs still a beast practice when setting up navigation and internal links within the website?

Breadcrumbs are clearly useful but I would make a distintion between two perspectives:
- Google: breadcrumbs are strongly recommended as part of a structured data implementation in order to get a clearer picture of our site's structure.
- User: breadcrumbs can a be lifesaver when site structure is so deep that main navigation is not enough.
I usually skip the use of breadcrumbs for very simple structures and make it a must for complex and deep structures like ecommerce sites. For those cases in between I go for the better ux.

Breadcrumbs - Good Internal Link Structure
Hello SEO Experts, I've been puting some thught into my internal link structure, and looking at breadcrumbs, as it has recently occured to me that most of the pages on my site link to Home | Contact Us | and paes and anchor text like that. Don't get me wrong my home page is really important, but anchor text of home I'm assuming is doing me no good at all? Anyway, here is my site home page And three other pages that are included within the site >> Pg1 | Pg2 | Pg3 So the four pages are targeting differnt keywords What I was planing on foing for Pg2 was having a breadcrumb trail that read like so site home page > Pg1 > Pg2 And then have the detail pages link from that with breadcrumbs like site home page > Pg1 > Pg2 > detail page with the home page link anchor text being 'jobs in (site area)' which would be followed by 'jobs in city' and then followed by 'sector jobs in city' So the breadcrumb trail would read - 'jobs in (site area)' > 'jobs in city' > 'sector jobs in city' So my question is, is this the best way of doing this, or would this be spammy? Ultimately it would mean 500+ internal links pointing at my homepage with the desired keywords in the anchor text?? Thanks for your thoughts 🙂

Traditional link requests still the right way?
Is the traditional way of link building wherein we send requests for two way or three way links still important? I feel posting articles, blog commenting, blog posting, forum commenting etc are better means to build links... but since I am still new to this industry I may be wrong. Please suggest.

Missing breadcrumbs
Hello. We have launched a new site/service quite a long time ago. Though everything seems to be okay (both in terms of popularity and technical aspect) the site does not seem to feature any breadcrumbs on Google. We have followed advice we have been given in order to resolve this without luck. Interlinking articles and posts
I have many articles and blog posts on my site. How should I interlink them for the MOST benefit to my root domain. For example, should I consider pointing pages with higher SEOMoz page rank or trust to those with lower rank? Or does that not matter?
