SEO trending down after adding content to website

Hi
Looking for some guidance. I added about 14 pages of unique content and did all of the on page SEO work using Yoast - have 'good' status on all of them some of the website architecture was changed - mainly on one page.That being said, we got a significant bump the day I implemented, however every day thereafter we have had very bad results. Worse than we had before for about 3 days now.
I did resubmit the updated sitemap to GWT and I'm showing no crawl errors.
Also, curious if my Robots.txt file could be the issue. All it contains is
User-agent: *
Disallow: /wp-admin/Any insight or advise is greatly appreciated!

I think Moosa and Andy both make great points which I agree with. I would definitely give it more time and it would be easier to give input with your domain. In terms of the content you have added in the form of new pages are these targeting new keywords or ones you were already ranking for? The reason I say this is because I have seen people cause themselves issues by creating new pages targeting terms that current pages were ranking for and this lead to keyword cannibalization. Always awkward to speculate on issues like this because there could be a problem we aren't aware of because we can't see it.
However, as Moosa said, I would also give it a little time as these things are often just part of the 'Google Dance' while it is decided what to do with the site and new content. Your Robots.txt file certainly isn't going to be the issue here.
If you wish to share the site and URL's, then we can take more of a look.

Personally I think you have to give it some more time. If you have added news pages of unique content, just make sure that the quality of content is good.
Also see if the keywords are mapped correctly. It is also important to add some internal linking as this will help new pages get crawled in Google and internal link will give a link juice to new pages.
If I would be at your place I would have boost new pages on social media and add some links to the new pages as well.
I think you should be doing the above mentioned activities and give it some time to see how Google is reacting to that.

Website indexing issues
My website is being indexed with both https - https with www. and no leader at all. example. https//www.example.com and https//example.com and example.com 3 different versions are being indexed. How would I begin resolving this? Hosting?

US and UK Websites of Same Business with Same Content

Does adding a noindex tag reduce duplicate content?
I've been working under the assumption for some time that if I have two (or more) pages which are very similar that I can add a noindex tag to the pages I don't need and that will reduce duplicate content. As far as I know this removes the pages with the tag from Google's index and stops any potential issues with duplicate content. It's the second part of that assumption that i'm now questioning. Despite pages having the noindex tag they continue to appear in Google Search console as duplicate content, soft 404 etc. That is, new pages are appearing regularly that I know to have the noindex tag. My thoughts on this so far are that Google can still crawl these pages (although won't index them) so shows them in GSC due to a crude issue flagging process. I mainly want to know: a) Is the actual Google algorithm sophisticated enough to ignore these pages even through GSC doesn't. b) How do I explain this to a client.

Website SEO Product Pages - Condense Product Pages
We are managing a website that has seen consistently dropping rankings over the last 2 years (http://www.independence-bunting.com/). Our long term strategy has been purely content-based and is of high quality, but isn’t seeing the desired results. It is an ecommerce site that has a lot of pages, most of which are category or product pages. Many of the product pages have duplicate or thin content, which we currently see as one of the primary reasons for the ranking drops.The website has many individual products which have the same fabric and size options, but have different designs. So it is difficult to write valuable content that differs between several products that have similar designs. Right now each of the different designs has its own product page. We have a dilemma, because our options are:A.Combine similar designs of the product into one product page where the customer must choose a design, a fabric, and a size before checking out. This way we can have valuable content and don’t have to duplicate that content on other pages or try to find more to say about something that there really isn’t anything else to say about. However, this process will remove between 50% and 70% of the pages on the website. We know number of indexed pages is important to search engines and if they suddenly see that half of our pages are gone, we may cause more negative effects despite the fact that we are in fact aiming to provide more value to the user, rather than less.B.Leave the product pages alone and try to write more valuable content for each product page, which will be difficult because there really isn’t that much more to say, or more valuable ways to say it. This is the “safe” option as it means that our negative potential impact is reduced but we won’t necessarily see much positive trending either. C.Test solution A on a small percentage of the product categories to see any impact over the next several months before making sitewide updates to the product pages if we see positive impact, or revert to the old way if we see negative impact.Any sound advice would be of incredible value at this point, as the work we are doing isn’t having the desired effects and we are seeing consistent dropping rankings at this point.Any information would be greatly appreciated. Content on subdomain...
We recently moved our Wordpress site to a new host (WPEngine). We had forums on the old web host, which we need to migrate to a new forum platform (Xenforo) and integrate into the WP site. Since WPEngine only allows Wordpress on their servers, we need to install the forums at another web host, on one of our other domains. We might point to the forums through a subdomain, like this: forums.our-primary-domain.com The main reason we're re-installing the forums is for SEO value. HOWEVER, since our forum content will be on another domain, will we have an issue? If so, is there a workaround that would give us 'credit' for that content? Thanks much.

Duplicate Content
Many of the pages on my site are similar in structure/content but not exactly the same. What amount of content should be unique for Google to not consider it duplicate? If it is something like 50% unique would it be preferable to choose one page as the canonical instead of keeping them both as separate pages?
