Best free twitter monitoring tool to monitor who is not following you back
-
Hello Mozers
Could someone recommend a free monitoring tool to keep a handle on who is not following you back on Twitter?
-
Thank you very much - will check it out now!

I say Followerwonk, or http://www.unifiedsocial.com/awesm/ with a focus on AWE.SM
their both fantastic.

Would agree with Silkstream on this one, this app used to be called Just Unfollow so you have probably heard of it before, it is quick to setup and easy to use allowing you to search on various aspects as described above.
Definitely a useful tool to have in your arsenal.

I would suggest Followerwonk, not only can you see who is follwoing you, but you can also search for great accounts to follow or link with, especially quality influencers who may spread your word far and wide. It is a Moz tool as well so you know it is worthy.

I'd recommend checking out Crowdire (https://www.crowdfireapp.com/).
You can sign in using Twitter immediately, and sort users you follow by those not following you back, those who have unfollowed you, those who haven't been online for a specified duration of time etc. You can unfollow people directly from the site through these lists.
Some features, taken from their website:
- Finding inactive users and your unfollowers - unfollow them if you wish to
- Finding relevant users to follow using our insightful “Copy Followers” feature
- Keeping track of how your social media updates affect your follower/unfollower stats
- Checking the relationship between any two Twitter/Instagram accounts and doing a whole lot more.

Getting Connections to Follow LinkedIn Company Page
I've just started a freelance contract with a client promoting their content over social media, primarily Twitter and LinkedIn. As I've started to manager their accounts, I noticed they have set up both a personal LinkedIn page under the company name as well as a Company Page. The "personal" account has 330 connections but the Company Page only has 17 followers. Has anyone had success with a good strategy for quickly and effectively promoting the Company Page to the personal connections? I'd like to actually migrate the connections over to the Company Page, which should be the primary focus. Thanks for any help.

Facebook Pages - Best to have one page or multiple pages when a company has multiple locations?
I'm working with a business that has multiple locations (13) in several different states. Is it best practice to have one central FB page for the company and/or separate location pages? It's for a self storage company that does not have one central phone number, so each location would have separate information listed on the page. They do have a central website with different pages for each location. I'd love to hear the communities thoughts on the best way to handle this.

Tool like Followerwonk for Facebook?
Hi For Twitter using Followerwonk you can gauge the influence on what a person/brand is using a tool like Follwerwonk helping you find the most influential twitter users based on a number of metrics. But is there a similar tool for Facebook which shows which brands/companies Facebook sites have the most influence. Or is the best way to gauge this is just on their number of likes? which is not really accurate

Best Practices for apps.facebook.com pages
A client of ours has experienced a large drop in traffic (per GA) from apps.facebook.com referral source in the last 30 days. After a lot of searching, its apparent that there is not a lot of chatter on this topic. So this is a twofold topic..... 1. has anyone observed a drop in apps.facebook.com referrals lately as well? 2. does anyone have any best practices learning on optimizing these pages? Facebook guidance and content in general on the topic is virtually not existent. Google is still clearly indexing the url structure so its visible in search at least. https://www.google.com/#hl=en&sclient=psy-ab&q=%22apps.facebook.com

Tool that recognizes twitter spam accounts
I seem to remember seeing an online app mentioned here that allows you to enter a twitter username, and it reports back metrics on the likelihood of each follower being a real person or not. Does anyone have the link, or did I imagine it?

Does the value of Twitter/FB shares change depending on the url used?
I have a really hard time wrapping my head around the use rel canonical. I just watched WBF and it brought up a question that I had. I had a situation where some of my pages could be accessed a couple of ways: www.mydomain/question1.php?id=24-keyword-rich-url, or www.mydomain/question1.php?id=24 I used rel canonical to tell the search engines that the keyword rich url was the one to index. Now, we all know that shares on Twitter, FB, etc. can add value to my site's SEO. So, if someone happens to be on the non-keyword-rich url and they click a button to share, do I still get the same seo benefit? Which brings me to a related question...if someone shares your content via a bitly or other shortened domain, is there any difference to the benefit you would get as compared to them sharing the full domain name?
