In my page title, I have my product name. Is it beneficial to also include another keyword like: Buy wedding dress online Australia: e..g. (page title) amelie wedding dress | buy wedding dress online Australia. Or is it better just using: Amelie wedding dress

Don't get too caught up in jamming keywords into your titles. Chances are your competitors are already doing this, so use the opportunity to stand out and grab the users' attention; give them a reason to click your result over the other ~9 on the page.
Page titles should be compelling so getting your keyword(s) in there is great, but try to avoid the clunk old [keyword] [keyword] page title style. Sometimes it makes sense and is about all you can really do but if you can avoid it, do so.
I don't agree that you need to have the word Australia in the title either, Google looks at plenty of factors to determine what country you're in so no need to take up those precious pixels in your title with a long, redundant word!
There are a couple of Whiteboard Fridays that cover this general topic which you might find helpful:
- Headline Writing and Title Tag SEO in a Clickbait World
- Keyword Targeting, Density, and Cannibalization
I'd give you an example of a strong title but I just realised how little I know about wedding dresses! Basically, it should be something like Amelie Wedding Dress - [Something compelling; what do they care about?].
Remember, don't talk about yourself or your product, talk about the benefits these customers care about. If they're sold online, ship fast and this is your strongest selling point, maybe something like Amelie Wedding Dresses - Easy Online Store, Shipped in 48hrs!

Hi,
IMO your title should be like this - amelie wedding dress/dresses (only one of them) |Buy Online Now
As I don't know your keyword list so I'm suggesting if keywords having Australia in it have significant search volume you can add '| Australia' at the end of the title otherwise not necessary to place 'Australia' in title.
Hope this helps.
Thanks

Hi,
If you have a local business and you are serving only one country then it is always better to mention country in Title tag for users and SEs too.
For user experience it is better to put like amelie wedding dress Australia and you can add your brand name after your product name (for ex. amelie wedding dress Australia - Brand Name). And if you are asking for higher ranking in google then read the story what google guys think about title tag now a days. let me give you link https://www.seroundtable.com/google-title-tag-critical-21499.html

Duplicating words in the page title OK?
Im finding a site with lots of duplicated words in the title tags, I have always avoided doing this in the past, Is there any penalty for having a word repeated twice in the title, indeed is there a benefit from having it twice, IM assuming not

For example: Marketing Services in Milton Keynes | Our Services | TFA
https://www.t-f-a.co.uk/services the word service is repeated twice, in my opinion this is of no benefit at all and is better rewritten to remove the duplication1 -

Titles
Our site http://villasdini.com is offering beach villas on sunny Diani beach in Kenya. I have a category with beach villas in Diani beach which I want to be shown in serp if somebody search for Diani beach villas, or Diani beach hotels, Diani beach accommodation etc. I have also category with small boutique hotels, which I want to be shown in serp if somebody search for Diani beach villas, or Diani beach hotels, Diani beach accommodation etc. Should I also include Diani beach in titles? Will that not be too much of Diani bech in titles? I am afraid I have anyway already too much of "Diani beach" keyword and perhaps I am even punished for it as I can't rank for this keyword at all almost a year:-( I also want to rank on Diani beach itself and I have created Diani beach page which I want to be shown in serp when somebody search for Diani beach. I am kind of getting crazy of this:-( Any advice what I am doing wrong and what strategy I should rather do? Thank you very much, Iris

Avoid Multiple Page Title Elements...
Hi guys i'm just going trough some pages with the seomoz one page optimization tool. As one of the "easy fix" suggestions it says: "Avoid Multiple Page Title Elements" "Explanation: Web pages are meant to have a single title, and for both accessibility and search engine optimization reasons, we strongly recommend following this practice.Recommendation: Remove all but a single page title element." By single element does it mean 1 single word? Is that realistic?

Duplicate content on video pages
Hi guys, We have a video section on our site containing about 50 videos, grouped by category/difficulty. On each video page except for the embedded player, a sentence or two describing the video and a list of related video links, there's pretty much nothing else. All of those appear as duplicate content by category. What should we do here? How long a description should be for those pages to appear unique for crawlers? Thanks!

Blog content on homepage - Dupe Content Penalty?
Hi All, I am working on a website which has a blog at domain.com/blog/ On the homepage they are currently looping the latest 5 blog posts in a 'Latest News' tab. Is this therefore classed as dupe content, and would this be penalized by Google? Should I recommend they use the excerpts instead of full articles and simply loop the excerpts on the homepage? The website is built on WordPress. Thanks, Woody
