Thousands of 404's showing up from Wordpress Blog!?!?

Hey guys,
Have recently seen thousands of 404 errors thrown up from my wordpress blog in Google Search Console. These are URL's trying to link (i'm not sure where from) to other parts of my site, but they are not relative to the site root... infact they are a mix of random folders/subfolders and pages on my site.
E.g:
This is a link to a picture on the blog:
And the rest of it is finding it's own way there!
Any ideas? This is Wordpress by the way.

p.p.s I forgot to mention that MOZ is reporting these issues too, but running Screaming Frog does NOT show any 404's at all on my site...

Well, if they are actually fixed, you can do "fetch as Google" for the whole domain.

Thanks Dmitrii, I've looked where the links came from and they originate from another 404'd page.
I've fixed the htaccess file now and mark all the 404's as fixed... but i'm assuming that Google will try and re-crawl the links and find the 404's again.... endless circle.
Is there a way of permanently deleting all 2,666 links from Google's memory!?

Hi there.
Seems to be weird rewrite rules? or mistake in path finding in template builder?
Usually, you can track where those links are coming from in MOZ or GWT.
Post real urls, it will be easier to analyze.

Think I've figured it out... had a problem with the Wordpress htaccess file and for each post/page/sitemap etc. it was showing a non-css'd version of my main website homepage instead of that post etc.
Googlebot has obviously gone to the non-css version of my homepage but at the "correct" blog post address, then found document-relative links that it then can't follow...
I'll go through and mark all 404's as fixed and hope they aren't re-crawled. In the event that they are, what can I do to get rid of them as there are 2,666 404's in my Google Search Console and I have seen a drop in rankings...

Should I hide the blog post pages that are automatically built in WordPress?
The pages that are automatically created through WordPress (ex: blog post page 5) are popping up as pages that don't have titles or descriptions. Should I use a branded title and description on those pages or hide them from the search engines? Since it's pulling blog posts to create the pages, keywords are all over the place as well. My Images Aren't Indexed By Goolge
My site is indexed by google, and there hasn't really been much of a problem with my content, but now I am noticing that none of our images are coming up in the images searches of google. I mean none. I have even typed in the alt text of the image verbatim and nothing shows up. I use wordpress if this helps anyone. Any advice would be awesome, Thanks a lot.

Using a more relevant brand title for blog
I'm a newbee here so I appologize in advance for asking a question that might already be aswered ( i looked I promise). The question is this, I've been fiddling with the title tags and came upon the need to make a decision about separating our blog brand to be more specific to it's content. We're a moving company, our primary website talks about services and is branded with our name (%page_name% | 2 Brothers Moving & Delivery Portland Oregon), our blog is a work in progress "Moving Guide" (%post_title% | Portland Moving Guide). Should I stick with the standard brand name on the blog or call it something keyword specific like above? As a side question what do you all think about my titles in the first place? Using meta robots 'noindex'
Alright, so I would consider myself a beginner at SEO. I've been doing merchandising and marketing for Ecommerce sites for about a year and a half now and am just now starting to attempt to apply some intermediate SEO techniques to the sites I work on so bear with me. We are currently redoing the homepage of our site and I am evaluating what links to have on it. I don't want to lose precious link juice to pages that don't need it, but there are certain pages that we need to have on the homepage that people just won't search for. My question is would it be a good move to add the meta robots 'noindex' tag to these pages? Is my understanding correct that if the only link on the page is back to the homepage it will pass back the linkjuice? Also, how many homepage links are too many? We have a fairly large ecommerce site with a lot of categories we'd like to feature, but don't want to overdo the homepage. I appreciate any help!

I'm sure this question must have been asked before but I can't find it. I'm assuming that the title tag is far more important than the page's url. Is that correct? Does the url have any relevance to Google?

Optimizing Wordpress Categories
I’m trying to optimize the category links in the wordpress blog http://blog.reputationforward.com. I’m in the process of installing the Yeost SEO plugin and am going to revise the Category Title Tags, Meta Descriptions and slugs. I’m also in the process of using Tags so that I can get the posts that appear in a category to be specific to that category (currently the publisher is listing posts in multiple categories: See “Business Management Category”). But other than that, is there anything else I can do to optimize each category?

How to trace back a link from a 404 error?
How do I find the link that is still refferring to a 404 error? Somewhere on my site there is a link pointing to an un-usable page and I cant find where that link is to fix the 404 error. I could just delete the page all together, but I would like to find the problematic link first.
