What Google uses in search result descriptions

Recently, Google has started including certain information from our web pages in their search results description that is a bit puzzling. For example if you google 'Wedding Band Raleigh' the description they are using for our site's (GigMasters) page begins with the text 'Results 1 - 10 of 1005' Not sure why they are pulling that information. That is in on the page but its not high up on the page or marked with any special h1, h2, or h3 tag. We do have that information inside of a div which we have named 'Results'. Maybe that's why? Did we inadvertently use some sort of Google rich snippet or schema.org naming convention?!
Any insight would be hugely appreciated.

You did not use any form of Google keyword to trigger the inclusion of the "results" information.
Google will try to find whatever relevant data it can from a page and add it to the description as it deems appropriate. I agree in this case it would be preferable to not include this data. I do not know of a way to simply remove it, but if you added a date stamp to the top of your page, there is a good chance Google with use the date instead of the "results" information.

Google not using meta desription
I have seen several posts as to why google may not be using the meta description. The most common reason is that they found other text on the page that is more relevant. While I have seen this to be the case on some, most of the time it is not. Is there any way to alert the google bot that it is taking wrong info that would not be good to the user?

Bing search results - Site links

Is using part of a meta description already on your site for another product considered duplicate?
I'm writing meta descriptions for this site, trying to keep them different, however, for two product types, I want to add the same info I added in the other likeminded product's meta descriptions. Is this ok as long as it's not the whole sentence or am I really to rewrite the same info another way, which is hard for " quick shipping available for x amount of colors ". Any Advice?

I added a WP Customer Reviews plugin but nothing seems to appear on Google search
Hi, I've added the wordpress Wp Customer Reviews plugin to a my client's website and we brought some past clients to put on reviews in order to empower the hReview factor. Google as scraped the website several times since but we don't see any change in the organic serp. Can you please tell me if I've done something wrong or I forgot something? Hi We are managing a .com site for a client working on getting the site ranking. The site is hosted in the US. The content is rich, deep and unique. The site is in a competitive market but had begun ranking top 50 for a selection of keywords and we could see many more in the top 100. The site is now going backwards and only has a few keywords ranking top 50 and all the others have disappeared from the rankings all together. Any thought as to what could cause this. The site is managed from the Uk but as mentioned is hosted in the US. No penguin issues as all content unique, rich, relevant and fresh. SEO is also managed from the UK. Thoughts

Google Analtyics Changes?
Did anyone else's google analtyics numbers jump up this month? Our unique visitors increased some, but our pageviews tripled and our bounces dropped significantly. We have been working to optimize the sites and did have a huge drop in errors in our campaign reports.

Site wide search v catalogue search
I have a client building a new web site who has agreed that a site search function is a good thing in order to get a view on how customers are using the site, the search terms they are using as a source of keywords etc. The problem is the developer has implemented a catalogue/product search which only queries the products in the database. On the one hand this is fine in that the search is directing users to products and not to other areas of the site. But the customer is disappointed that the search is not site wide. Are there any solutions where third party search utility could be implemented whithin the site which will search both? The ecommerce platform is Magento. Any views would be very helpful!
