Traffic suddenly dropped from reports
-
Hey,
I have a campaign, where in the past week all the traffic has dropped from the moz report (it registered 3 organic and 61 referral visits and nothing else)
All other data remains. I checked google analytics and it's the same - traffic has suddenly dropped from 300 per day to 10 per day. It happened on April 1st (April fools?).
I thought it could be a www. or non www issue, but this shouldn't affect analytics data should it as you only have on property there?
Site is still receiving usual amount of traffic as I can check with Jetpack (it's a wordpress site)
Any suggestions really appreciated.
Cheers

Hey there!
Your traffic data in your campaign is imported directly from your Google Analytics account. We don't change or alter it, so if you're seeing dropped traffic there can be a few different causes.
If your traffic in your Moz campaign is lower than what you're seeing in GA, this is likely due to a connectivity issue the prevented us from collecting your traffic data on a daily basis. Oftentimes this is caused by expired or invalid tokens. We recommend reconnecting that token to restore traffic data. You can double check this by heading into your Traffic from Search section and switching the timeframe to daily. You may see missing data points from the days it wasn't connected.
If your Moz traffic matches what you're seeing in GA (as it sounds like is the case for you), this might be an issue on GA's end. We would recommend troubleshooting with Google to find potential causes.
Traffic drops can also be due to SEO-related issues. Unfortunately, we can't diagnose SEO root causes for you, but you can definitely use Moz Pro to research why it might have happened. Did you have an increase in crawl errors that might be preventing people from reaching your site? Did a competitor make big strides recently? The Q&A forum is a great place to reach out to SEO experts who might be able to help. You might also consider reaching out to an SEO consultant to look into the issue!

Website domain authority dropped from 55 to 1 in two months
Hi all! Our website DA dropped from 55 to 1 in a matter of two months. Last time I checked, it was two months ago and the website DA was 55. When I checked today, it is 1. Needless to day, I am shocked. The website has been around since 1995 and has always had pretty decent DA and PA. We made a couple of important changes during past 3-4 months. One is to support HTTPS and another is to implement the responsive web design to support browsing by mobile devices. What could be the reason for such a dramatic drop of DA in a short period of time? Where would you suggest me to look for it? How can we get the problem fixed? Here is the website URL: www.infohub.com Thank you!

Is everybody seeing DA/PA-drops after last MOZ-api update?
Hi all, I was wondering what happend at the last MOZ-update. The MOZ-health page has no current errors and i've checked a lot of websites probably about 50 a 60 from our customers and from our competitiors and everybody seems to have a decrease in DA's / PA's. Not just a couple went up and down like normally would happen, but all seems to have dropped.... Is anyone seeing the same in their campaigns? Greetings,

Domain Authority - 10 point drop. Should i be worried
We have had a steady rise over the past year and as the DA results came out i was extremely disappointed to see a 10 point drop. Competitors have also dropped but not by this figure. We have been continuing with the work we have been doing all year. Not the best news to have to share with the client. Would you use DA as a KPI or is it a little unreliable?

Why did my Domain Authority drop all the way to 1
The Domain Authority on my sites has dropped all the way down to 1. This seems to have happened recently, although i'm not sure when or what the ranking used to be. Could this have anything to do with the "catastrophic failure of the hard disk" on 1/8/2016? https://community.uservoice.com

API for crawl reports?
Hello, I'd like to know if moz api is able to provide me the crawl reports. We're currently developing a simple crawl report analysis/parsing tool and after analysing the API we weren't able to find a function that could return us wether the excel file or the report results. Is there any way? Thank you very much.

Domain Authority drop due to Moz update?
Hi guys, I have noticed an unusual Domain Authority (DA) drop in mid November for many different websites here in Sweden. There was a Moz update the 12th of November which I assume has to do with this drop. I have attached the DA history chart to visualize the drop. Does someone have any information about: Did the drop in DA have to do with the update the 12th? Did the new update have a new type of metric calculation? Is anyone else experiencing this drop? Any extra details would be helpful. Thanks a lot guys. YLhKVwF.png

Detecting Direct Traffic on Website
Hello everyone,
API | | SarahVonnegut
I noticed that most of the traffic we receive on our website comes from "Direct visits", and after doing further research it seems very difficult to gauge where these direct visits come from. What I was looking to do is find some kind of survey provider that can track visits from direct traffic visitors and poll them specifically on how they heard about us. Does anyone know of a service like this? Thank you for your help!0 -
I REALLY need some help with Moz Reporting
Hey Moz Community, I really need someone to help me with Moz reporting. Let's say I have 10 websites on my campaign dashboard. Is there an API or settings in campaign where I can generate a Moz report that has all 10 campaigns into one high level report? Right now I can generate 1 report per 1 website and the plan is to make it more easier to digest the information and have all the information for all 10 campaigns in just 1 report. Is that even possible? Thank you in advance!
