Need help figuring out who to hire for this type of project?
-
Hi my name is Gina, I have a bail bonds company that is in need of some sort of online accessible (software or website)?. I'm not sure what the right word to use for this project is. I need a program that is sort of like seamlessdocs. That does the following.
1. Allow guest to access company application as is and be able to fill out the document and submit via our company website. With required attachments for review by bondsman. Who will be evaluating the risk based on application submitted. Once it is approved I want the application to be saved for access by name search.
2. Have the ability to save the client payment information such as credit card info so that if a client is on a monthly payment plan it will automatically charge the card and calculate and update the new balance.
3. Also have the ability to send text message reminders to clients for the upcoming court dates.

Thank you for the respond. I like option 3 I like everything they offer. But I want it to be my own. Not belong to another company I pay. What would this type of project be considered. And how much do you think it would cost me?

Gina, it sounds as if there are several possible solutions. But it really depends on your budget. You could, actually, perform all of these tasks by using Adobe Acrobat PDF files, where you could upload the form to your website. People would then download it, fill it out, and email it to you or upload it to your website. This is fairly simple--and most web designers and web developers should be able to get it set it up fairly quickly. The PDF files then would be accessible to you (you could save them on a hard drive or a laptop) and they can be searched.
Another option, though, would be to have someone set up a custom website with the forms that are filled out online--and then saved in a database that you can then access. This would require more website development, and is costlier.
Another option is to use something like http://www.captira.com/, which appears to be software for your industry. I don't know much about it, but thought I would point it out to you. I'm not sure if integrates with your website.

Project Management SaaS for Non Profit
While attending a STEM conference I met the Chief Strategy Officer for a program that works with disadvantaged high school students to provide both counseling and financial assistance to allow them to go to college. Many students from lower socio economic backgrounds grow up believing college is not something they will be able to do for a myriad of reasons.

From this we are working with them to improve their database management and general functionality of systems so that they can increase the number of students they assist and improve their delivery system. To now they have had an archaic paper plus database that they must call the developer to run reports etc plus various CRM programs like SalesForce. Needless to say it is a massive time suck for those who work very hard to serve this group of kids. The cool thing is that in spite of innumerable hurdles, they have gotten 1000's of kids into college who otherwise would never have gone. I believe they would be much better served with a Project Management System like a BaseCamp, Active Collab, etc. I am curious if anyone has used a program like that in this way and more importantly, I am wondering if any of you know someone at one of the major Proj. Mgmt. companies that I might be able to persuade to assist this group? I would be willing to offer free services to the software company, etc. if that would help. So, I am really hoping some of you in the Moz Universe will do a bit of digging and checking and offer me (really the program) some assistance with this. Thanks1 -
Need Definitive Source on Wordpress SEO
I am a longtime practitioner of classic asp. I build sites with SEO built-in and administer largely to sites I have built. I have, up til now, had a policy of not working (SEO) on Wordpress projects because - I don't presently build Wordpress sites Am unfamiliar with how SEO could be implemented on CMS I have a long time client who wants me to do contract SEO work on various Wordpress sites on his servers. Can someone point me to a definitive source on the latest methods for Wordpress SEO. I am very proficient in SEO with conventional web sites - I just need to know how to implement it in Wordpress. I don't see how plug-ins can implement serious SEO, but my mind is open.

Can some expert help us on switching domain name issues?
We have a small brick and mortar store chain in California. And we also have an online store with the same domain name. We are planning to invest on our online store platform and switch to Magento. while switching to Magento platform we are also considering to switch our domain name also. Our current domain name is not representing our current business model and capacity. Our brick and mortar store name is PuzzleZoo, our e-store domain is also PuzzleZoo. This domain is active in use for well over 10 years. But once started as a puzzle store, today we sell more toys than puzzles. We want to keep our brick and mortar store name as our brand. We also own ToyZoo domain name. And we are looking to use the new Magento store with ToyZoo domain. The question is should we keep both domains separately running or should we use only one. In this case should we stay with PuzzleZoo with only looks like a Puzzle store instead of a toy store. Or should we use ToyZoo and redirect the PuzzleZoo links to ToyZoo links? If we have both stores open with similar products, descriptions and images, are we going to get penalized by Google for duplicate content issues? Or PuzzleZoo being a brick and mortar store and ToyZoo being an online only store will help us to avoid getting Penalized by Google or other search engines? If we use Toyzoo are we going to lose our keyword authority and traffic? Looking forward to hear Expert opinions. Your participation will be highly appreciated.

Hi, this is a little off topic but I hope someone can help me. I am looking for a good E Learning provider.
Within our organization we would like to start training our people at our global offices in SEO using E Learning. Just as with SEO, there is so much available, but I don't know who to trust and who not. I was hoping some of you might have some names for me, or experience with certain providers you can recommend. Best regards, Astrid

Help Finding Specific SEOMoz Blog Post - Help meh puhleeze
Hi everyone! Hopefully everyone had a great weekend. I'm having trouble finding a specific blog post (from the SEOMoz blog), that was pertaining to content writing. I think (but could be wrong), that it was written by Rand, but I'm having the most difficult time finding it. The overall theme of the post was about Writing/Blogging about topics OUTSIDE of whatever your niche is. I didnt bookmark the thread (doh!), but the theme of it was to basically not just write about stuff pertaining to your niche on your blog. but to write about other topics as well (I.E if I have a site about blue widgets, not only writing about blue widgets). Is there anyone that is familiar with the post that I am referring to that could possibly point me in the right direction? Thanks a ton

Good technical SEO resources for a newly hired front end dev who has no SEO experience
I am a SEO/product manager for a big online publisher. I work with several front end developers who have great technical and design skills, but zero SEO or social media knowledge. I end up answering a lot of SEO 101 questions and/or making them redo things with SEO and social media in mind. What are some good resources for them? I was already going to send them these SEOmoz links. http://www.seomoz.org/beginners-guide-to-seo/basics-of-search-engine-friendly-design-and-development http://www.seomoz.org/beginners-guide-to-seo/how-usability-experience-and-content-affect-search-engine-rankings Can anyone recommend other, more thorough, more technical reading and reference materials (print or online)?

I need recommendation on an email system for customer service center.
My client has way too many emails coming into his inbox and it's preventing him from closing orders. He wants to be able to split the email load among everyone in sales so he isn't burdened with answering all the emails while his staff sit on their asses. Can anyone recommend a system where emails sent to info@example.com are answered like a customer service system?
