Does LinkedIn Pulse Backlinks add to domain authority?

I'm working on linkbuilding and content partnerships to drive referral traffic and boost our page ranking and domain authority. I wanted to check and see if Medium and LinkedIn Pule backlinking work just as well as other sites?

Typically no, LinkedIN decides whether or not the link is nofollow or not. But, if you share the article, and you put the URL in your description, it will be a "do follow" link.

Most of those links are going to be nofollow links, so when it comes to building Domain Authority, it's generally not going to be recognized as a link that passes DA. Google, on the other hand, may actually count those links--as we've seen nofollow links help rankings.
As you build links, keep in mind that it's good to drive real traffic (which helps rankings) and social media shares (which helps rankings) and build your natural link profile (which helps rankings). You need nofollow links for your link profile to be natural.

Backlinks from translated content
Hello, We have quite a few articles "out there" that give us backlinks. We were thinking of also translating the content and submitting it to local content websites, so it can provide us with more backlinks. The main questions here, will this content be recognized as the same content as the English version? Also, being in another language, some of the anchor text might not hit the English keyword. Do backlinks which contain parameters pass value
For some of our partners, we use our own tracking string in the url i.e. www.mysite.com/landingpage.html?partner=123456 . This has caused backlinks to be created to our site containing the partner string. I was wondering if these links would pass value to www.mysite.com/landingpage.html and the tracking parameters would be ignored or would Google treat www.mysite.com/landingpage.html?partner=123456 as its own page. If it did treat it as a seperate page, could you reclaim some of it using the canoncial tag?

Top 20 sites for backlinking
My security jobs website was doing very well in Search engines until the penguin got hold of me. I don't profess to be at pro at SEO however seem to have a knack of getting sites to rank well. I think I made some basic mistakes with the original security jobs website, to many links to soon, so I have started again and will build up slowly the backlinks quality rather than quantity this time. Hubpages and Page authority
Hi, I've created a Hubpage awhile back and I see the url has a page authority over 50. How much does Domain authority influence page authority? The url has only 3 (registered) backlinks, so I cannot see an obvious explanation why. I understand that Hubpages was one of the sites that "took a hit" with the Panda update, but it has a domain authority of 84...
