Keyword Stuffing Count Differs to Source Code
-
Moz's on page grader counts 33 instances of a keyword however, when looking into the source code I only find 8. I have checked if capitalization affects the find feature when viewing the source code and it doesn't.
Has anyone else come across this issue and found an explanation?

Hi there! Kristina from Moz's Help Team here.
I'd love to take a closer look at this for you - can you please provide the URL and an example keyword that you were reviewing when this was made as a suggestion?
Thanks so much!

Thank you for your response however, I am more concerned over Moz's On Page Grader advising that there are 33 instances of a keyword found when I can only find 8 in the source code.
I was wondering if anyone knew what could be causing this discrepancy?

There is a tipping point at which Google starts to see over-use of one or more key words as a kind of spam called “keyword stuffing”. At this point, your site will not receive as high a ranking in their results. See a, b, and c below. Which site uses keyword stuffing? Not sure? Read on!
Each keyword should only be used once in the title tag. However, variations of it can be used in the description. An example would be “dentist Vancouver” as part of the title and “Vancouver dentistoffers a full range of dental services” as a phrase in the description.
The title tag allows 65 characters to be used, so there are plenty of opportunities to use other phrases besides “dentist Vancouver”, such as a description of services offered. What counts as a variation of a word? Google sees “dentists” plural as a different word than “dentist” singular. You can use quite a range of endings, like dentist, dentists, dental and dentistry, and they will all be seen as different words. The same holds true for words with variations ending in “ed”, “es”, “ion” or “ing”.
I would recommend using as many variations as possible. You not only avoid Google’s poor impression of your site, but you will pick up more visitors to your site because you can’t count on every single visitor typing “dentist” and no other variation of it.

Can Moz Keyword Explorer help target keywords for Google Images results?
I'm wondering if I can use Keyword Explorer (or maybe another tool?) to target keywords for image rankings. I'd like to play around with optimizing images so that they appear in search results and thus provide traffic - but wasn't sure the best way to track that kind of progress. My ultimate goal is to analyze the difficulty of ranking for a certain keyword via Google images. (I do know to optimize alt tag/title tag/place in relevant article etc, but wanted to know if I could research the difficulty). Any help is much appreciated. Thanks!

Should keywords found in a keyword tool (eg. Keyword explorer) be implemented on a page in the exact order?
Hi guys, I have a question about adding keywords found directly from a keyword tool onto a webpage. I see a keyword opportunity from Moz's Keyword Explorer, for example, "dog giardia treatment natural" and was wondering if it should be worked into the page exactly in that order? For example, I've modified the question on the page to now read "Are there any other dog Giardia treatments that are natural?" Is this good practice? Should it be exactly in the order of the keyword found in the tool? Is what I've done too spammy? Appreciate any help! Thanks

Why is Volume Data Vastly Different in Keyword Explorer Lists than Manual Search?
I have created a number of lists in the new Keyword Explorer tool, and finally had a chance to put them into my company documents. I noticed a drop in some keywords which I assumed (rightly so) was incorrect. For example, in my "list" I have the keyword mixed media. When I export the CSV it shows a volume range of 0-10. If I type just that keyword into the explorer I get a range of 4.3k-6.5k for mixed media, which is where I would expect it to be. (https://moz.com/explorer/overview?locale=en-US&q=mixed+media) This issue happened to about a dozen keywords at least in my list, and most of them are that major of a difference. Any idea what is going on here?

Keyword Difficulty tool showing Google search volume or Bing?
Hi, I plugged in a bunch of keywords to know their search volume, chose Google from the drop down and then chose English from the next dropdown and clicked on Check dificulty. It shoes me "Bing Search Volume (Exact Match)" on top but shows the name of the keyword and "for Google CA" on the left. Is the search volume for Google? or Bing? and the difficulty as well? Google or Bing? "

Keyword Rankings vs Rank Tracker
Hello, I have a question, what is the difference between these tools? I thought both are the same, just that you can see you competitors ranks on the keyword rankings... The keyword rankings tool is telling me that my competitor is ranking in some keywords.. If I go to the rank tracker tool and type the keyword and competitor url it gives me that that keyword is not in the top 50, when keyword ranking is giving me position #3 I am using in both the same Search Engine with the same country (Google Mexico) Thank you

Need a Reliable Free Bulk Keyword Rank Checker
I have 2,871 keywords that I need to check Google rank for on 4 separate domains. Does anyone know of any FREE tools or plugins available that will allow for this volume that wont get my IP banned by Google? Even the Moz Rank Checker only allows to enter 1 keyword at a time for up to 200 per day. Who would seriously enter in 200 keywords, one by one all day, every day?
