How non-US Moz customers will use Keyword Explorer after the Keyword Difficulty tool is retired?
-
The new Moz Keyword Explorer looks good but its search volume is US based and completely useless for non-US websites.
This is from Rand's post: "while the tool can search any Google domain in any country, the volume numbers will always be for US-volume. In the future, we hope to add volume data for other geos as well."
In the Keyword Difficulty tool, Moz shows Google search volume data, which is similar to what I see in the Google Keyword Planner and Google Search Console. For example, keyword X in the Australian search market has 6-7k searches in the Google Keyword Planner and 8k searches in Moz.
The very same keyword has 118k-300k search volume in the new Keyword Explorer!
Obviously this new search volume is not useful in the Australian market. I often used the Keyword Difficulty tool to identify new keyword opportunities but what can I do to complete the same tasks after they retire the tool?

It's going to be a while -- possibly a year or more -- before we have good data for KWs outside the US. In the meantime, I'd suggest SEMRush, KeywordSpy, SpyFu, or Ahrefs, all of whom have fairly robust KW data sets outside the US.

Hi,
When can we expect to see Google search volume data for United Kingdom?
I've just used "root domain" in keyword explorer but all my keywords are showing results from US so Monthly Volume searches, positions for these keywords and ranking difficulty aren't correct for me.Thanks

Hi Gyorgy - I think you asked this same question in the reply to another thread, but I'll paste my answer to that below
Some important things to keep in mind about volume in KWE:
-
It uses United States volume only right now (if you search by default in AdWords, you may be getting global search volume unless you choose "US")
-
It's modifying that data with actual clickstream numbers to give greater accuracy
-
It normalizes trend volume, so if Google has a big spike or dip, they'll show that one number, whereas KWE tries to estimate the monthly average data.

Is the Moz on-page grader going to start grading mobile-first as Google does?
I wonder whether this has been taken into account yet or there are any plans to in future.

Is Keyword Explorer now providing search volume by country?
I think Keyword Explorer was only providing search volume data for the US (whereas difficulty and opportunity were available at a country level) but recently I've started to see differences between the US volume data and the UK (see examples attached). Does this mean Keyword Explorer is now providing accurate volume data for the UK and other countries? DEIKsVJ 5kels

How can I find duplicate pages from a Moz Crawl?
We have many duplicate pages that show up on the Moz Crawl, and we're trying to fix these but it's very difficult because I can't see a way to isolate the code where the duplicate is found. For instance, http://experiencemission.org/immersion/ is one of our main pages, and the crawl shows one duplicate of http://experiencemission.org/immersion. It appears that one of our staff manually edited the source code in one of our pages but forgot the trailing slash. This would be an easy fix but the problem is that this page is linked to internally on our website 2423 times, so it's next to impossible to find the code that is incorrect. We have many other pages with this same basic problem. We know we have duplicates, but it's next to impossible to isolate them. So my question is this: When viewing the Moz Crawl data is there any way to see where a specific duplicate page link is located on our website? Thanks for any and all help!

Did Moz recently change how it calculates keyword difficulty?
Did the keyword tool recently change? What is Grepwords? Why do all my long-tail phrases show as "not available?" Just wondering...

Keyword difficulty problems
I'm just running a keyword difficulty analysis and it seems to be stuck. The analysis report is just marked as pending with the arrows going round and round. I've tried ti in two browsers (firefox/chrome) just in case it was something local. Are there current problems?

On Page Grader - We have keyword in Meta Description But does not show up
The on-page grader is not counting/picking up the keyword in the meta description. We have double checked the meta description and re-uploaded the page, and checked the source code on-line. The keyword is there in meta description, but not showing up in on-page-grader. https://www.trustdeedrealestateinvesting.com/trimarkfunding/buy-first-trust-deeds.html keyword buy first trust deeds

Moz Crawl Report showing non-existent Duplicate Errors since new reporting layout
Hi Moz Community, Since Moz changed to the new style of Crawl report, we've seen a jump in duplicate errors for our site. These duplicate errors do not exist and were not present on the Crawl reports before the report change and also we have not made any changes to the flagged pages on our site since then either. When you download the report data in csv it appears that the Moz report is mixing up data for two or more pages on the site. e.g.in csv for 'Page1' data, it will show the meta description for 'Page2' and 'Page2' shows that for 'Page1', so this then gets flagged as duplicate, however looking at the actual Meta description assigned onsite, both Page 1 and Page 2 are completely unique. Has anyone else experienced this and Moz Team - are you looking into this? Thanks, V
