Tool to check page size for multiple url's at once
-
In Google Analytics under Site Speed > Page Timings, you can see all pages and their loading time compared to the average. This is very handy to check which pages maybe need some optimization. I would also like to check the size for these pages in a similar way.
There are multiple tools out there like GTmetix and Pingdom that give specific information and performance insights. The problem is that they are limited to check one url at a time.
Does someone know about a tool to check the page size of multiple url’s at once (and if possible to easily export to Excel)? That way I can check which pages are big in size and research/optimize them.
Thanks in advance

Hi Andy,
Thanks for the quick reply. That was exactly what I was looking for, thanks!

Hi Mark,
You can do this with URL Profiler. it will analyse the site / pages you tell it using Google Pagespeed.

More 'New users' than 'Users' in Google Analytics
Hey Mozzers, I'm seeing more 'New users' than 'Users' in Google Analytics (see screenshot). This is over a 3 year time period. Any idea why new users would be greater than users? Thanks! 6lYmU0j

How do I create a segment that shows me all pages using a certain keyword? But nothing that doesn't have that keyword?
There must be an easy answer to this, but I can't seem to find it. All I want to do is create a segment in Google Analytics that shows all pages and search strings with "orthopaedics" in the title, with pageviews, uniques etc. If I simply navigate to "All Pages" in Google Analytics and then click Advanced Filters and do an Include Page Contains "orthopaedics" it works just fine. (See attached Screen Shot) But when I try to recreate this as a segment, it pulls in all other pages the users visited before arriving on the orthopaedics page I want to include, which I don't want. I can manually exclude each URL I don't want, but this is tedious and I feel there must be a simpler method I'm just missing. At the end of the day, I'm trying to create a list of every page and dynamically created query string that includes the word "orthopaedics" to say doctor X, your orthopaedics section generated X views, and here's a list of the pages. Webmaster Tools equivalent to Change Default Address found in Analytics
Hello all! We're changing from http to https. In Google Analytics there is an option to change the default address so we keep our historical data. I can't find a similar option in Webmaster Tools though. Do you have to setup a new property or is there an option to change your current one? Thanks in advance!

Why would page views per visitor suddenly increase?
My website traffic is growing by about 1% a week. It has a fairly stable page views/visitor of about 1.69. There's normally very little variability in this As we sell an industrial product. Today page views jumped by 50% and so did page views/visitor but visitor numbers stayed the same. I dont have a useful hypothesis to explain this. Analytics shows me that the traffic source, country of origin and pages viewed are pretty much the same as normal. There's been no substantive change to the site (today we changed the text in a widget to link to a new page - and no one visited it). It doesn't look like 1 person has gone through the whole site as that would skew the distribution of page views by country So why would user behavour suddenly change? I'll look at it for the rest of the week but in 7 years of looking after this website I haven't seen anything like this before.

Blocking our IP's but wondering if Google still uses our search data?
The company owner here has our (company) website as his home page. I excluded our static IP’s on Google Analytics, but is that good enough to keep Google from using his search traffic as an indicator of anything negative. Does Google still take into account his activity, but simply block it from my reporting? Finally, does one person actually have that kind of influence as far as time on site, bounce rates, etc. Should I convince him to find a new home page?

Subdomains and SEO - Analytics & Webmaster Tools Setup Help
Any advice on the following greatly appreciated: How to get multiple subdomain data into 1 Google Analytics profile? Can we get multiple subdomain data into Google Webmaster Tools (and if so how?) or do we need to set GWT up per subdomain?
