Recovering rankings after a botched url change

Hi there,
I have for a long time had a bicycle maintenance website at madegood.org. Over the years the film branch of this business has taken off and moved in a slightly different direction, so I thought in March I decided to move madegood.org to madegoobikes.com, and create a new website for my film business at madegood.com. I thought I did a good job of telling google about my change of domain, but my rankings completely died, so about a month I moved madegoodbikes.com back to madegood.org.
So far I haven't seen any sign of a recovery in my rankings, I'm getting almost no visits. I've check all my top pages on OSE and everything seems to be in place.
Is it normal to wait over a month for my rankings to recover, or is there anything else I should be doing? Any tips/ideas/advice whatsoever will of huge help!

Oh yeah, right! That's funny, I wonder how that happened. I had a quick peak in Yoast and the various post types and pages were set to no-index. You're a star, thanks a million.

Hi there,
It looks like you have a technical problem which is probably the root of the issue. On the vast majority of your pages (including the homepage) you have a meta robots noindex tag which is telling google not to index your content! You can see here that there are very few pages indexed. Unless there is some specific reason for this setup then you should go into the yoast settings and/or the general wordpress settings and remove this instruction. For yoast check here for the various places to check, for wordpress generally you go to Settings -> Reading and make sure the 'search engine visibility' checkbox is NOT ticked. Hope it helps! If you get that sorted out I would think you will see a pick up in results pretty quickly.

Is the Moz Ranking Report correct?
Hello here, today I got my weekly report from Moz by email and it reported a strong decline of rankings on some of our major keywords. Then I went to check on Google personally, and instead I found my pages ranked much higher than reported by Moz (please note that my results wasn't personalized...). I also use a desktop program to check my rankings, and what I found personally on Google corresponded to what my desktop program reported me. Here is an example: my website is virtualsheetmusic.com, and Moz reported a rank NOT in top 50 for the following keyword: "moonlight sonata sheet music" Whereas we are actually on the 19th spot. Another example for the keyword "czardas violin sheet music", Moz reports NOT in top 50, whereas we are actually at the 5th spot on the first page of Google results! Why's this? Anyone can explain? Is there anything wrong with Moz ranking report?

SEOmoz not showing Google rankings accurately in Ranking Reports. How do we fix this?
We have a running campaign for a client who has rankings show for Yahoo and Bing within the SEOmoz Ranking Reports, however, Google shows no data or rankings. When we manually check from different IP's and computers and browsers, we see our client ranking very well in Google and for keywords which we have inside their campaign for SEOmoz. Can anyone provide insight into this? Have you experienced this also? Our reports would look terrible going to the client if sent from SEOmoz directly as Google shows 0 (Not in Top 50) for all keywords, so we have to get rankings from other sources or manually to show our client. Thank you in advance for your help and tips everyone!

Ranking - UK or Localised?
The MOZ rankings are based on a GOOGLE UK search, when in reality when someone does a search on Google, the results, by default, are localised (based on the City IP). We need to see where we rank for a local search (Leeds) and also for a UK search?

Does SeoMoz realize about duplicated url blocked in robot.txt?
Hi there: Just a newby question... I found some duplicated url in the "SEOmoz Crawl diagnostic reports" that should not be there. They are intended to be blocked by the web robot.txt file. Here is an example url (joomla + virtuemart structure): http://www.domain.com/component/users/?view=registration and the here is the blocking content in the robots.txt file User-agent: * _ Disallow: /components/_ Question is: Will this kind of duplicated url errors be removed from the error list automatically in the future? Should I remember what errors should not really be in the error list? What is the best way to handle this kind of errors? Thanks and best regards Franky

Sudden decrease in Moz Page rank
Hello, We have a serious issue with 404s and recently saw our Moz Page rank fall from 53 to 47. 1. OSE Inbound links no longer shows any of our Linked In posts, did Linked In stop passing juice? 2. Does SEO Moz reduce your ranking when there's a sudden increase in 404s? 2a. WP Yoast SEO - I accidentally checked the box on this plugin to "Strip the category base (usually /category/) from the category URL" which basically caused all of our blog post categories and Datafeedr categories to disappear. Didn't realize till too much time had passed that I accidentally clicked that box. Datafeedr is a plugin for our estore that parses the data feeds from affiliate vendors and allows you to create a saved search that auto updates old products every 3 days. I had a no index/follow parameter on the category items, but seeing the # of 404s continue to increase, I temporarily removed this parm last week to see if it reduces this now static number of 404s. Google Webmaster tools started showing a ton of soft 404s that kept increasing, while SEO Moz didn't show any of those 404s. I didn't pay much attention to GWT since Google kept saying it won't affect our rankings, and nothing was showing up on SEO Moz. Last week a fraction of those 404s showed up and I am not sure if that's what lowered our Moz rank or what looks like a possible delinking from Linked In and a higher ranking complimentary website directly related to our field itsallaboutyoga. Looking at the Moz graph of "Total Linking Root Domains Over Time" all of our competitors took a similar % hit since between June and the end of July, so I am thinking its more wide based than fat fingered mistake. I fixed # 2, (have to still figure out what to do with most of those 404s, thinking of submitting a request to Google vs 1,000s of 301s) so in doing my review of this sequence of events and using it as a learning experience, where would I assign max destructive value as a percentage? A. Ignoring GWT soft 404s in favor of SEO Moz campaign reports B. No follow from Linked In and related industry site C. Datafeedr, thousands of indexed products through Datafeedr that are no longer available mostly due to WP Yoast SEO fat finger error. I did have the D. How do I change domain settings for a campaign?
So I set it up one of my Moz campaigns as domain.com Rogerbot only hits 1 page. I am thinking I should change it to www.domain.com, but I cannot seem to find how to do this. Thoughts?

Have mozrank factors changed to cause drop?
