Domain not ranking in Google
-
https://www.buitenspeelgoed.nl/ is a domain acquired by our client. Previously this website was on http://www.buitenspeelgoed-keupink.nl. With the old domain they were ranking top 30 on 'buitenspeelgoed' in google.nl. Now with the new exact match domain they aren't ranking any more (for months). However, the website is indexed, as you can see on http://1l1.be/nz
I don't know what to do anymore. Need some advise. What we allready have done the last months:
- made adjustments to the 301-redirects (this was originaly setup wrong by the webdesigner
- (de) optimized the homepage on 'buitenspeelgoed' (strange is the fact that the Moz robot can't access the site).
- Checked the robots.txt to see if the website was blocked for Google
- Checked the meta robots to see if the website was blocked for Google
- Disavowed some spammy (old) links which linked to the old domain
- Checked Search console > Fetch as Google if there isn't any Malware of some kind (and to see if Google can access the site)
- Checked Search consol to see if there manual spam actions (isn't the case)
- Checked for duplicate content by copy/paste some texts in Google and see if any other results are showing up (isn't the case for most of the texts)
Please let me know what we can do.

Hello Rick,
If you consider this answered please list the questions which you believe cover your points as answered!
-
Look at things like:
- How often do you make changes on the website
- how well would you measure the quality of content on the website
- how often do you receive new links or new anything related to inbound marketing
- why is the domain authority so low
Things like the above matter!
-
Very true, H2 don't matter.. is just the greater SEO strategy that we are interested in.
-
by the way, website went live somewhere in 2015.
-
Thanks for the input. Agree with a lot of advise, but advices like the heading 2 tags is also good but shouldn't be the issue why it's not ranking.
-
I have checked the following:
- the home page is indexed in Google
- the page has "index, follow" command
- the home page does not have a canonical tag (Recommended)
Big problem:
Running a check for duplicate content it appears you have an issue with the following website:
http://www.fivestarsbubbelbaden.nl/
the test was performed using copyscape.com (see URL below)http://copyscape.com/?q=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.buitenspeelgoed.nl
Is there a problem with duplicate content? The thing is that your home page is not appearing even if you google the meta-title of your home page (but the other website fivestar... appears fine in the SERPs).
There is somewhere an issue.. when did you take this website live?
By the way the following data show that your site is very low in terms of off-page Optimisation:
DOMAIN AUTHORITY 22 /100
PAGE AUTHORITY 35 /100
Imagine that your stronger link is from http://www.linkpartners.nl/ which am guessing it can even harm you more that help you at the moment.
You need more quality links from reliable sources, better off-page SEO, and improvements on your on-page strategy, e.g. better use of the "Heading 2" tags (which you don't use), etc.

Moving Shopify from a Sub Domain to the Full Domain
Apologies if this has been asked before. Currently we have a Shopify shop on a subdomain shop.lucybee.com a blog on subdomain blog.lucybee.com and the full domain of course. We'd now like to move everything onto Shopify on the full domain. Therefore the blog rolls into Shopify. We'll manually move pages into Shopify. Any advice or links to resources on how to manage would be gratefully received. Thank you , Jim

We switched the domain from www.blog.domain.com to domain.com/blog.
We switched the domain from www.blog.domain.com to domain.com/blog. This was done with the purpose of gaining backlinks to our main website as well along with to our blog. This set us very low in organic traffic and not to mention, lost the backlinks. For anything, they are being redirected to 301 code. Kindly suggest changes to bring back all the traffic.

One server, two domains - robots.txt allow for one domain but not other?
Hello, I would like to create a single server with two domains pointing to it. Ex: domain1.com -> myserver.com/ domain2.com -> myserver.com/subfolder. The goal is to create two separate sites on one server. I would like the second domain ( /subfolder) to be fully indexed / SEO friendly and have the robots txt file allow search bots to crawl. However, the first domain (server root) I would like to keep non-indexed, and the robots.txt file disallowing any bots / indexing. Does anyone have any suggestions for the best way to tackle this one? Thanks!

Google.com
Hi We are managing a .com site for a client working on getting the site ranking. The site is hosted in the US. The content is rich, deep and unique. The site is in a competitive market but had begun ranking top 50 for a selection of keywords and we could see many more in the top 100. The site is now going backwards and only has a few keywords ranking top 50 and all the others have disappeared from the rankings all together. Any thought as to what could cause this. The site is managed from the Uk but as mentioned is hosted in the US. No penguin issues as all content unique, rich, relevant and fresh. SEO is also managed from the UK. Thoughts

Google Sitelinks
We have an e-commerce site that has about 50k pageviews of our main shop page every week. However in our Google sitelinks we have one for 'Shop'. However, for the Shop sitelink Google is linking to a random URL that we have never & would never use as a URL and not to our Shop page. I can't work out why Google would pick up this random url as we have so many links etc to the main shop page. Why are they not linking to the right page? I have blocked that url in webmaster tools and done a redirect but I want to understand why it happened in the first place. It included 'swedish+fish' so it seems weirdly spammy?! Any thoughts would be really helpful (and I am only mildly techy). Many thanks

"Site Suspended" in Google Adwords + Lost all rankings in Google => is this related?
Can anyone share thoughts on this: Does the S recently (mid april) we revamped our website (same content, new layout, strong brand), but a few days later our google rep contacted us to tell that she got a "red flag" for one of our SEA campaigns (we broke the bridge page policy, not on purpose to be clear), they were completely correct on this matter. We even got some extra time to correct this, normal policy is only 10 days. But, we were a little slow, so all our Adwords Campaigns are suspended and we get the message "Site suspended". We are working to have this fixed, our Google rep even granted some more time to fix this. Now, almost simultaneously, same time frame, all our new pages, that were already ranking well tx to proper 301 rules, suddenly fell out of the google SERPS, nothing to be found anymore up till now. Our website is live since 1996, no issues, up till now. There seems to be a strong correlation to what happened in our SEA and what happened in our SEO can anyone share some info?
