Can Anyone Recommend A Good Company For Linkbait Campaign (via infographic)
-
Hi,
I have a website that I am going completely whitehat with. I am looking for some recommendations on companies who can prepare and execute a proper linkbait campaign. I am specifically thinking about using infogrpahics for the link bait. I would like to work with someone who can come up with the concept, design it and also help promote it.
Thanks

Not affiliated with these guys in any way, and haven't worked with them either, but I did once have a conversation with Nick from Killer Infographics (http://www.submitinfographics.com/KillerPortfolio.pdf). I haven't had a need for an infographic yet but they seemed like an interesting option.
Please don't take this as an endorsement as I haven't tried them. I know they do concept to completion but I don't think they promote them, but isn't the idea of an infographic that they're fairly easy to promote anyway? Viral content and all that

World.edu -- is that a good website to get a backlink from?
I saw the "World.edu" as a place to get a small blog and could create backlinks. But it seems like it may be a PBN which google doesn't like. What are your thoughts of world.edu?

Can bad traffic by association ever be a good thing?
Back in May, my client's website www.mfcomm.co.uk was hacked. Pages were added to the site which instantly received backlinks & traffic. The secuirty flaw was plugged & offending pages deleted within the following weeks. I also created 301 redirects for the most popular pages because the domain appeared to be affected by the increase in 404 errors. Reviewing stats & Moz reports, I notice fresh backlinks - one from http://forum.kolodec.info/. By association to the spurious page that was created as part of the security breach, should I distance the domain with any traffic from all referring sites? Reviewing http://forum.kolodec.info/ in Open Site Explorer it only gets spam score = 4 So my question is, should I count all traffic by association as bad traffic & blacklist the domain or be more lenient? More the point, what would Google think? Regards, Terry

Guest blogging company - yay or nay?
I'm considering working with a guest blogging company. The quality of the writing seems to be decent / not spammy. The types of sites they're guest blogging on are... http://theblogabouteverything.com/ http://globalgoodgroup.com/ I know these are fairly generic blogs. Is there any chance of a manipulative link penalty with these types of sites? Thanks!

Has Anyone used Eyeflow SEO out of Pittsburgh
We are looking to have a third party do some white hat link building for us because we currently do not have the resources to do so in house and do not want to rush into a hire. We are looking at eyeflow because they are local to our area and we would have the opportunity to personally see how they do things. Has anyone had any experience with them, or have any suggestions for things to ask or be weary of? Thanks

Has Anyone Heard from Google?
After submit RR last week, we got the following from Google: "We've received a request from a site owner to reconsider how we index the following site: http://www.butterflycraze.com/ We'll review the site. If we find that it's no longer in violation of our Webmaster Guidelines, we'll reconsider our indexing of the site. Please allow several weeks for the reconsideration request. We do review all requests, but unfortunately we can't reply individually to each request." We got discouraged that Goodle said that it'd reconsider if we are no longer in violation. However, we have about 4500 unatural links created by SEO co, who has proceed with some, but, we aren't seen reduction of such links. In fact, it went up. I need advise as how to remove the following (they are the few site with bulk links): fantake.com: have their webmaster info, however, since last request, we still have 1200 links from it. blogspot.com - is there any way to remove links from such site? onlineunionmall.com: don't see any contact info on their site Some suggest us move on by building good links, but, to dilute the power of 4500 unnatural links, it would take forever.

Why did my Linkbait bomb ???
I work at Uncommongoods.com. I ran a big linkbait brainstorming session a few months back. Several ideas came out of the meeting and we just released our first piece of "linkbait" that was conceptualized during the brainstorming session. I think it's safe to say this first piece of linkbait is a big fat failure as it has only received 2 likes and no comments in the past few days. I want to know what I could have done to make this post more compelling so our next post can be better. http://blog.uncommongoods.com/2011/kindest-vs-angriest-cities/ Any thoughts ?
