Is there any tool available to check which website using Lazy Load?
-
Hello Experts,
Is there any tool available to check which website using Lazy Load?
Thanks!
-
Okay; we will try that. Thank you very much!
-
I believe they do get indexed, don't have any physical proof as of the moment. The easy way is to simply set it up on a test landing page, then request manual recrawl through Google Search Console of that page. and see if it gets indexed.

Hi Dmitri,
We are trying to determine if Google will index Lazy Load images. Please let me know if you have any insights here.
Like the original post, I am looking for Lazy Load sites, we want to test if the Lazy Load site images are indexed.
Thanks!

I would say it's not really for SEO, but rather for UX, which at the end does affect seo. Meaning that it doesn't mean that your rankings will increase dramatically if you do lazy load.

Hi @Dmitrii,
Thanks for the response. Lastly do Lazy Load is good practice in terms of seo?
Thanks!

Hi there.
I don't think there is an actual tool which will tell you that, but you can see it yourself while scrolling on a page - you'll see images loading as you scroll. Also you can use browser's developer console, specifically network tab. You should see images not being loaded until you scroll to them.
Hope this makes sense

New website showing old domain titles in search
Hello Moz, We have recently built a new website聽http://www.hegroup.org.uk/ The new site has the domain for one of the clients old sites pointing to it - heartofmersey.org.uk. When we check the SEO index (site:hegroup.org.uk) for the new site, most of of the indexed items are using the old 'Heart of Mersey' title in the index although these do redirect to the new site. See below. Heart of Mersey <cite class="_Rm">www.hegroup.org.uk/</cite>Jessica Bell 路 Andrew Bennett 路 Nicola Calder 路 Matt Donnelly 路 Alexandra Holt 路 Robin Ireland 路 Magdalena Kolka 路 Alison Gradwell 路 Matthew Philpott 路 Trustees. Internal Linking From Blog to Website
Hi all, I'm just seeking opinions on something an external company have told us about linking from our blog to our website... Our website is; www.XYZ.com and our blog is www.XYZ.com/blog I add content to the blog on an almost daily basis and generally link on average 3 times from the blog (internally) to a various relevant pages on our website. Today I was told that by doing this I am 'diluting' the link juice which I understand but don't agree with... All I am doing is a form of internal linking which as far as I am aware is a good on-page technique? Just curious to learn other people's view on this... Many thanks Andy

How does Google Detect which keywords my website should show up for in the SE?
When I checked my Google Webmaster Tools I found that my website is showing up for keywords that I didn't optimize for ... for example I optimize my website for "funny pictures with captions", and the website is showing up for "funny images with captions". I know that this is good, but the keyword is dancing all around, sometimes I search for "funny pictures with captions" and I show up in the 7th page, and some time I don't show up. and the same goes for the other keyword. of course I am optimizing for more than two keywords but the results is not consistent. my question is how does Google decide which keywords you website should show up for? Is it the on-page keywords?, or is it the off-page anchor text keywords? Thank you in advance ...

In-page Optimization check list....
Hey, Mozzers I have a question about optimizing a web-page. I was just having a conversation with our web developer about聽optimizing聽our website and which changes would make the most聽difference in affecting the SERPs as far as on-page optimization goes. I was explaining to her we wanted to optimize our pages in the following levels (ranked most important to least important): <title>: key word聽laden聽</p> <p>2) 聽<H1> : key word in聽<strong>bold</strong></p> <p>3) page content: keyword聽laden聽as well</p> <p>The idea was to have three or four layers of keywords on the page. I work for a real estate brokerage and the context was the actual page of the property listing. So in this case, the keywords would be the address of the property. She explained to me that the the H1 tag is more important than the title tag.</p> <p>Does this ring true with you guys?</p></title>

Using Robots Meta Tag on Review Form Pages
I have gone over this so many times and I just can't seem to get it straight and hope someone can help me out with a couple of questions: Right now, on my dynamically created pages created by filters (located on the category pages) I am using rel""canonical" to point them to their聽respective聽category page. Should I also use the robots meta tag as well? Similarly, each product I have on my site has a review form on it and thus is getting indexed by Google. 聽I have placed the same canonical tag on them as well聽pointing聽them to the page with the review form on it. In the past I used robots.txt to block google from the review pages but this didn't really do much. 聽Should I be using the robots meta tag on these pages as well? If I used the robots meta tag should I noindex, nofollow? Thanks in advance, Jake
