Is there any tool available to check which website using Lazy Load?
-
Hello Experts,
Is there any tool available to check which website using Lazy Load?
Thanks!
-
Okay; we will try that. Thank you very much!

I believe they do get indexed, don't have any physical proof as of the moment. The easy way is to simply set it up on a test landing page, then request manual recrawl through Google Search Console of that page. and see if it gets indexed.

Hi Dmitri,
We are trying to determine if Google will index Lazy Load images. Please let me know if you have any insights here.
Like the original post, I am looking for Lazy Load sites, we want to test if the Lazy Load site images are indexed.
Thanks!
-
I would say it's not really for SEO, but rather for UX, which at the end does affect seo. Meaning that it doesn't mean that your rankings will increase dramatically if you do lazy load.

Hi @Dmitrii,
Thanks for the response. Lastly do Lazy Load is good practice in terms of seo?
Thanks!

Hi there.
I don't think there is an actual tool which will tell you that, but you can see it yourself while scrolling on a page - you'll see images loading as you scroll. Also you can use browser's developer console, specifically network tab. You should see images not being loaded until you scroll to them.
Hope this makes sense

Canonical Homepage Multi-language Website
Hello, Our development department is building a multi-language webshop.
On-Page Optimization | | X-com_Maasbree
Due to the multi-language module that they've used, we have example.com and聽example.com/nl having exactly the same content. In order to avoid duplicate content, those pages have the following canonicals:
1. example.com -> Canonical to聽example.com/nl
2. example.com/nl ->聽Canonical to聽example.com/nl Do I loose SEO-value by not canonicalising directly to the root-domain homepage (example.com)?0 -

Hello Moz, We have recently built a new website聽http://www.hegroup.org.uk/ The new site has the domain for one of the clients old sites pointing to it - heartofmersey.org.uk. When we check the SEO index (site:hegroup.org.uk) for the new site, most of of the indexed items are using the old 'Heart of Mersey' title in the index although these do redirect to the new site. See below. Difference in using dividers in TITLE TAG
Hi everyone, i know that dividers in title or even title tag doesnt have much of an impact on better rankings. I had great rankings for many keywords, not using dividers or using only one divider. However for better reading comprehension and usability, and also aesthetics i started to use the pipe as my main divider and other secondary dividers. I saw many pages drop in rankings vs other less competent and with less content pages. My format was as follows: Product Brand | Product description - Additional info or local info ie. 聽Fiber Glass MBI | Insulation Batts for Home and Commercial use - 聽Acoustic and Thermal Insulation I changed the format for a handful of pages, and saw immediate results on rankings and traffic on those pages. Product Brand with Product Description - Additional Info ie. Fiber Glass MBI Insulation Batts for Commercial use - Acoustic and Thermal Insulation. Does it sound like something i should implement page wide. I personally like the aesthetics of the pipe as it gives a cleaner look, but the better rankings on the changed pages with using only one divider makes me think. 聽Does it sound familiar, or its just a coincidence, Regards,

Using Transcription Service For Videos - Have Question Around Search and Spiders
Hi All, So I have put together a weekly video series on security topics. I have read an SEOmoz post around how you can boost SEO by adding the transcription to the page, which makes perfectly good sense. My question is, can I include the first couple of paragraphs and then have a "read the full transcription" so when the user clicks, the rest of the content appears? Do the search engine spiders only crawl the first two paragraphs in this instance or do they crawl the whole thing even though the entire content is not on the page? I dont mind making the page longer and including the entire transcription if it is easier for SEO but if there is no difference, than I think the first option would be the best user experience. Thanks for the help Pat

Is there a tool out there I could use to help me compose unique meta tags in bulk?
We have a website that has hundreds of crawl errors due to duplicate meta tags. I could do with a tool to help compose unique ones in bulk so we don't exceed the聽recommended聽character limit and follow any other best practices.

Monitor site loading speeds
We all know that site loading speed is important for google ( and getting more important), and currently we are considering moving to a dedicated server.聽 But I would like to measure pur current loading times and compare them to our competitors.聽 I know that webmaster tools shows you your loading times, but its seems a bit random with its results, and I know analytics also now records speed, but the sample sizes seems to be too low. When I googled website load times, I got a load of different free tools but they seem to give conflicting results聽 e.g one said that our avg kb load time was 0.02sec and our competitor was 0.01, but a different site says our sites loads in 1.7 secs and our competitor loads in 11sec (our home pages have similar total file size for our homepage. ) Also what would be useful would be a way to monitor of website loading speed to see when it slows down, so we can figure out why. Does anyone know of any good reliable聽 programs or sites that does this?

Duplicate Content using templates
Hi, Our web site is designed using a template, which means the header and footer is consistent across all pages. Only the body content is unique on each page. Is the google bot able to see that the header and footer content is defined by the common template? Will this have any impact in terms of duplicate content? For example, we have a two line text in the footer that summarize the services we provide. Because the same text is in the footer of all pages, i am concerned about creating duplicate content. Finally, does it make sense to include keywords in header and footer of the template? Will it have any positive or negative SEO impact?
