1) Do Website Engagement Rates Impact Organic Rankings?

What does Website Engagement Rates means? Is it a visitor stay on my page long time?
-
Can anyone guide me what things we can include in website engagement rates Specifically for "Ecommerce Sites" ? Can I consider - 1) Reviews 2) Video's 3) Good Images and informative description 4) video's 5) highlighting relevant blog posts at category pages 6) email subscription etc as website engagement?
Thanks!

As to the third part of your question... there can often appear to be a correlation between some of those offerings and improved site metrics which could be signals for improving organic rankings. But there is no definitive cause and effect that I can point to that would say "yes, always put these in" or "no, they never work." More specifically, having legitimate and useful reviews can help improve user engagement and can help to improve conversion rate. Having a decent amount of reviews can also allow you to add schema markup to the page that can add star ratings into your organic results which could improve your CTR. Will it always do this? No, but it can.
Videos are also a good way to improve user engagement, if its a decent and relevant video. Especially useful if people like it enough to share it either because its incredibly informative on the relevant subject or really amusing. This increase in time on page, lowered bounce rate, shares, etc. could improve organic rankings but there is not always definitive proof that this is the case. Videos can have the opposite issue as well... sometimes they just want their question answered or the information presented to them instead of sitting through your 2 minute video about the product offerings or how to install it.
Good images is just good business and so are good descriptions. Having relevant images on your page can also help you take up real estate in image search as well as generic organic SERPs. Having an informative description can help with a variety of ranking signals. But you need to make sure that you are not going overboard, stuffing keywords, or attempting to game the system. For some people, adding 5 images with great, informative descriptions could be helpful. For others it could be 10 images. But for some, those 10 images could wind up inadvertently hurting them if they don't things according to best practices.
Highlighting relevant blog posts? Well, that could help with retention on site as people are more likely to find the information that they need quicker and easier. Promoting flow through your site to the right information is a plus to UX which would make people more likely to come back to your site or to suggest this site to other people. It could also help with the flow of link equity to relevant pages that would then benefit from the infusion and possibly rank better. Or if overdone, or not done properly, it could have no effect, little effect, or the opposite effect as you clutter the page with extraneous links or dilute equity by pointing links at irrelevant pages.
Email subscriptions. This won't necessarily have any sort of organic impact but can help in the retention of users who are then slightly more likely to return as direct visits.
If you're looking for a magic bullet to increase your rankings via user engagement, there is no such thing. There are things to consider best practices and things that work for the right types of sites and things that work well if done properly.

Should I have multiple websites for my different brands or one main website with different tabs/areas?
My client creates apps. As well as the apps they create themselves, they have made some of their own that cover various different topics. Currently they have individual websites for each of these apps, and a website for their app making business. They are asking whether they should just have one website - their app building site, which also includes information about the two apps they've built themselves. My feeling is it's better to keep them separate. The app building site is trying to appeal to a B2B audience and gain business to build new apps. AppA is trying to help carehomes and carers to streamline their business, and AppB is trying to help workplace and employee welfare. Combining them all will mean lots of mixed messaging/keywords even if we have dedicated areas on the site. I also think it will limit how much content we can create on each without being completely overwhelming for the user. If we keep them all separate then we can have a very clear user journey. I would of course recommend having blog posts or some sort of landing page to link to AppA and AppB's websites. Thoughts? Thank you!

Indexing is live what about rankings ?
I noticed that when I request indexing in the webmaster tool my new content is live within minutes. Does it take longer to update the ranking or is the ranking updated as soon as the new page has been indexed. Thank you,

Google cache from my website give another website
Hello, Some time ago, I already asked a question here because my homepage disappeared from Google for our main keyword. One of the problems that we showing up was the Google cache. If you look to the cache of the website www.conseilfleursdebach.fr, you see that it show the content of www.lesfleursdebach.be. It's both our website, but one is focus on France and the other one on Belgium. http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache%3Awww.conseilfleursdebach.fr&oq=cach&aqs=chrome.0.69i59j69i57j0j69i60j0l2.1374j0j4&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8 Before, there were flags on the page to go to the other country, but in the meantime I removed all links from the .fr to the .be and opposite. This is ongoing since January. Who has an idea of what can cause this and most of all, what do do? Kind regards, Tine

Website Not Ranking Organically - Not Links, Not Domain Authority...
This is regarding the domain: http://lesliekays.com We got a new client about 5 months back who had a website that was hacked. It took several months, but we've cleaned up most of the spammy links and completely rebuilt their website. We have been successful with every other client that we have ever done getting our customers to rank well organically, but we just can't figure this one out. I'm willing to offer a REWARD to the single person who can figure this out for us. (Let's not get carried away, a small reward). This customer has great quality links to their site too. We are looking for answers other than: 1. Backlinks 2. Content 3. Malware 4. Domain or Page authority 5. 404 errors 6. We have utilized Googles Webmaster tools endlessly It is something else and we can not identify it! Let me know what you think! I will give a public shout out to the person who helps us identify this issue!

Google Rankings Are Dancing What To Do?
I was been ranking on page no.3 for many of my keywords. Suddenly they all dropped to Page No.9& Page no.10. Now 10 days back one of my keyword got back to page no.4 & now suddenly today it went back to page no.9 again. I haven't done any changes to the site. My page speed is less than 4secs. Checked everything & all seems fine. No errors or manual actions notification in Webmaster too. Should i wait for the rankings dance to get over or should i start doing something. Currently i am planning to get fresh pages with good content added to the website for the whole month of July. Suggest me what to do?

Website Migration and SEO
Recently I migrated three websites from www.product.com to www.brandname.com/product. Two of these site are performing as normal when it comes to SEO but one of them lost half of its traffic and dropped in rankings significantly. All pages have been properly redirected, onsite SEO is intact and optimized, and all pages are indexed by Search engines. Has anyone had experience with this type of migration that could give some input on what a possible solution could be? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
