Query on google analytic event report and customized report - Please help.
-
For my site I placed Black Friday offer. Now I have highlighted one product at homepage banner and tracking that with event. I am sharing with you actual figures of 1 day from Google analytic.
Your proper response on this query will really really really helpful to me for understanding google analytic deeply and properly. So pls give your precious time for answering me, I will be thankful to you from bottom of my heart.
- I am checking event report from behavior, following is report for by that product event -
Sessions - 30
Unique Events - 30
Total Events - 34
Ecommerce Conversion Rate - 3.33%- I am checking now report from All pages via Behaviour section -
Page views - 97, Unique Page Views - 62, Entrances - 7, Bounce Rate - 57.14%, %Exit - 17.53%
Now I create customize report for the same by adding
session -7
Ecommerce conversion rate - 0
unique events -4MY query -
- when I added session in customized report then it is different from Event session why (7 and 30) ?
- same way Ecommerce conversion rate in customized report showing 0% why ( 0% and 3.33% ) ?
- same way unique events 4 and 30 ?
- do you suggest what is the best way to analysis such page or what will be best customize report for such analysis?
Thanks

Hi Pragnesh,
Not sure if I understand your questions, but I will give it a shot:
-
Sounds like your customized report and the Events tracking aren't looking at the same data - sounds like one is tracking just the event you are looking at while the other might be page views or some other form of interaction.
-
If the E-commerce rate is 0%, either your tracking isn't set up properly, or conversions aren't occurring. Since you have another set of metrics showing 3.3%, it sounds like it's a tracking issue.
-
Same as 1) above.
-
This completely depends on what you are trying to measure. I'm sorry but without the data in front of me it will be tough to help you out. Maybe try helping us out by telling us exactly what you want to measure. With that information I can help you create some strategies for analysis and tracking.
Feel free to reach out any time,
Rob

Why No Goal is recorded in Google Analytics
Hello, I am not sure if i made an error. Can someone please point out. On our sales form, when a user submits the form, the URL displayed is - https://x-y.com/thank-you-2/ I created a Goal like this - 1 ) Under Goal set up, i choose Template option 2 ) Under Goal description, i choose Type > Destination 3 ) and finally, in Goal details field, destination equals to /thank-you-2/ But, no Goal is being tracked. In the first step, should i have selected 'Custom' instead of 'Template' Thanks

Different statistics in Google Analytics
Hi! A client of mine is having some trouble on his Google Analytics overview. When he checks the yearly report with number of visitors, new visitors, returning, ... he gets statistics that doesn't match mine. Also, he gets a notation from Google that no hits were fired, although the script is still there. On the other hand, I (logged in with another account) am seeing all statistics correctly. FYI: no filters were installed, nor segments, ... Why does the client see different and incorrect statistics? There should be a setting or something I'm overseeing. Hope you guys can help.

How To Stop Google's "Fetch & Render" From Showing Up In Google Analytics
Hi all, Within Google's "Fetch & Render" (found in Google Search Console) is the ability to index certain pages from my website on-demand. Unfortunately, every time I ask Google to index a page, it registers as a bounce in Google Analytics. Also, if it means anything, my website (www.knowtro.com) is a single-page application, functioning similarly to Google. If you guys know of any solution to this problem, please help! I originally thought that Google would know to block its own Fetch & Render crawler from Google Analytics but that doesn't seem to be the case. Thanks, Austin

Is there a way to find out who the admin of a Google Analytics account is?
We have a client who has been searching high and low to gain access to the GA account that is tied to their website, but previous agencies keep stating they don't have access. Is there a way to find out who the admins are on a GA account with the tracking number so we can reach out to that person and ask them to admin the client?

Best practices to track blog.mydomain.com in Google Analytics?
What is the best practice in Google Analytics? Tracking blog.mydomain.com + mydomain.com under the same profile? Or creating separate profiles for each blog.mydomain.com and mydomain.com? Thanks!
