Please take a look at my keyword usage
-
Hi All,
Traffic to few pages of my site is dipping from last couple of months. When I analyzed one of the web page (http://ow.ly/IEkt307dfNr) in Moz tools, it is warning that the keyword "dance classes" is used excessively in the page (30+ times). But, it is used in genuine manner; because that page is a listing page of "dance class teachers" who provide the service, we added "dance classes" under each of the provider. It helps users to connect with the teach easily.
Is this okay or will it fall under keyword stuffing? Should I change something?

Hi There,
I do agree with Martijn that this does not appear to be keyword stuffing of the content, I do not think this would cause any issues.
However, I did notice that the meta keywords tag is extremely over-optimized, this could be considered keyword stuffing/spamming. The meta keywords tag does not provide any value, major search engines abandoned it as a ranking factor years ago. However, it is possible this is sending spam signals. Google states that they ignore the meta keywords tag, but Bing has acknowledged that they review this tag as a spam signal.
I noticed that many pages contain meta keyword tags that are fairly 'stuffed', I would recommend removing these or significantly decreasing the keyword usage in these tags.

Thanks for the information

Mwah, this is just a personal opinion. But I would say for now you should be able to get away with this. Sometimes the information provided for a dance class provider isn't that much but overall it doesn't harm the page.
What I would look into for the long run though is the fact that you have these footer links that look a bit spammy: http://take.ms/jN6tJ

'sameAs' Mark up for different spellings of a Product/Keyword, is it possible?
Hi There, I've seen that for social media profiles you can mark them up to be the 'sameAs', example below: - <code><scripttype="application ld+json"="">{ "@context":"http://schema.org", "@type":"Organization", "name":"Your Organization Name", "url":"http://www.your-site.com", "sameAs":[ "http://www.facebook.com/your-profile", "http://www.twitter.com/yourProfile", "http://plus.google.com/your_profile" ] }</scripttype="application></code> My question is can you do something similar for your product/keyword? For example when you can spell the word in different ways e.g. Whisky (English) or Whiskey (Irish/US). I've had a look at schema.org but I'm not sure if I'm headed down the wrong path? Thanks

Lost 24 places with one keyword
Hi All, Hope I could get some help. Moz has just finished crawling 1 of our 4 business sites and one of our keywords has dropped 24 places (21st to 45th). Is this the new algorithm at play? (our site is responsive) Cheers

How long before I can use a redirected domain without taking back link juice?
We recently moved our website to a new domain that better matched our brand. I want to use the old domain at some point for another aspect of our business. How long after we do the domain redirect will it be safe to use the old domain again--without affecting the seo of the new domain? Thanks! Harriet

Keyword links in footer
Hi - I am trying to help a site to get out from under a Google manual action penalty - down as "Partial Matches - Unnatural Links to site".
Technical SEO | | StevieD
I am checking through their links - the site that links most to them is a local directory style site - it has 2,682 links back into 1 page (Home) The directory site was built by the web co. that built my clients' site and they put a keyword link in the footer of the directory site - the keyword was "Buy Truffles". All my instincts say that is a bad thing! But - this is what is perplexing me - they are ranking no.1 for that keyword! Whereas they have lost rankings (i.e. not top 50) for all the other keywords they were targeting. So I don't get it! Can anyone explain why this is. I feel I should I get that link removed but don't want to take out their only ranking keyword! Webmaster shows about 55 different pages in the directory site have a link back to my client. Hope you can help.

What might make Bing.bot find a URL that looks like this on our site?
I have been doing something Richard Baxter recently suggested and reviewing our server logs. I have found an oddity that hopefully some of you smart Mozzers can help me figure out. Here is the line from the server log (there are many more like this): 157.55.32.166 - - [04/Mar/2013:08:00:59 -0800] "GET /StoreFront/category/www.ccisolutions.com/StoreFront/category/shure-se-earphones HTTP/1.1" 200 94133 "-" "Mozilla/5.0 (compatible; bingbot/2.0; +http://www.bing.com/bingbot.htm)" "-" See how the www.ccisolutions.com appears after /StoreFront/category/ ? We used to see weird URLs reported in GWT that looked like this, but ever since we fixed our canonical tags to be absolute instead of relative URLs, they no longer appeared in our Webmaster Tools reports. However, it seems there is still a problem. Where/how could Bingbot be seeing URLs configured this way? Could it be a server issue, or is it most likely a data problem? Thanks in advance! Dana P.S. Could this be resulting from our massive use of relative URLs all over the site?

Does part of a keyword phrase need to be repeated in a sub folder?
I have a page that targets "web design" at /web-design/ I also have a page at /web-design/price-cost-calculator/ In the second page the target keyword is "web design price" and "web design cost". Do I need to repeat the "web design" part in the sub folder, or is it sufficient to have it in the root folder? I.e., /web-design/price-cost-calculator/ or /web-design/web-design-price-cost-calculator/

How much are redirected links that look like this worth?
Hi, All! If another site (example.com) links to you, and upon mouseover of the link, you see it's supposed to go to something like: http://example.com/index.php?option=com_mtree&task=visit&link_id=123&Itemid=456 and then when clicked on you get to your actual site, is that considered a real link? How much of a link? Thanks! Aviva
