Can't track my site, keep getting "Ooops. Our crawlers are unable to access that URL"
-
Hello,
So i keep getting this message and I went to hurl.it and I get 200 response. But it appears its not my actual homepage bc it says the body is empty and in the title it says "COMING SOON" which is not what my actual homepage says. Does anyone know what this means?? Thank you in advance!

Hello and welcome aboard!
It's working here, (with hurl.it and others - and I can see the actual page content as you'd expect). I can also crawl it within MOZ: "Accessible to Search Engines" - CHECK
Could this just be a temporary issue with your web host or perhaps an issue where you are/were connected where you attempted the crawl?FYI: Crawl results show all your pages with 200 status (apart from one 301). All is well

Sorry to say i cannot recreate the issue on hurl.it and some of the other ways I've looked it all looks like it is working. I'd recommend trying some other tools, as long as it is all working and displaying in Search engine console that is the only place to really worry about as it is the one that counts!

Why does Moz only seem to be crawling a snap shot of the site I am working with?
I was wondering if anyone can help? I am working using Moz to help improve the SEO on a website I am working with, the website contains thousands of pages, yet for some reason Moz only seems to be crawling a small snap shot of the website. I know there are particular pages that I had added a couple of weeks ago - about 300 in total - and none of these were showing on the first crawl, so I did another on-demand crawl and some of these showed up then. Despite this, it says it crawled 700ish pages, but there are getting close to 20-30ish thousand live pages on the site. Any thoughts and guidance as to why they crawling may be stopping?

Why can't I Ctrl + click on links on Moz any more?
I'm interested if it's just me that gets frustrated by this? I've just Ctrl + clicked a few links to open them in separate tabs and then realised that none of them had opened. I know it's been like this for a while. It's a usability issue as it goes against expected norms, and now I have to right-click and then click "Open in new tab" on each link, which is more time-consuming and frustrating. More and more websites seem to be losing their Ctrl + click on links ability (JavaScript often breaks it). I don't know if there's a Mac equivalent... Anyway, I hope that doesn't seem like I'm too angry. It just frustrates me a little and I hope it gets fixed. 🙂 Edit - I've just realised these are getting blocked by Chrome's pop-up blocker - but why? It's only an issue on a small number of websites.

How to authenticate Moz crawler so that others don't use Rogerbot useragent to scrape data from our site?
Is there any way to authenticate genuine Moz crawler. Because, our website keeps getting scrapping attacks and if there is no way to authenticate Moz crawler, then, any scraper can just set user agent as Rogerbot and scrape all our pages. Is there a fixed IP that can be used or any other customization that will help us authenticate and allow only Moz crawler to crawl our site. Looking forward to a solution to this problem. We haven't been able to use Moz crawler due to this issue.

'not a valid url' error in campaign set up
I get the error not a valid url when I'm trying to set up a campaign. I know it's a valid url. I have tried with www, non-www, http://, https:// when I do the https it lets me start, but then I get an error that https is forwarding to http and I need to use that. When I then put in the http, I get the original error. thanks in advance for your help.

'Domain Does Not Respond To Web Requests'
Hi everyone, This seems to be a fairly common query on the Q&A section, but I haven't been able to find a solution by reading through previous threads. When I try to set up an SEOmoz campaign for spryz.co.nz, I get that ol' favourite error message: 'We have detected that the domain spryz.co.nz does not respond to web requests. Using this domain, we will be unable to crawl your site or present accurate SERP information.' The problem isn't being caused by a Robots.txt file, and the site has experienced 99% uptime since it was launched.Traffic stats show that visits are coming through to the site via the search engines, suggesting that it may not be all crawlers that fail to access the site. I've tried to set up this campaign several times throughout the day, since I've read that sometimes Roger goes on the blink, but I've still not been successful. Any suggestions as to why Roger might be unable to crawl my website would be great.
