Hi,
It is easy, you installed an SSL certificate but did not properly redirected the page, both http & https versions are accessible, thus creating duplicates. You have lost 5 DA points just last week during the latest update. Add this code to your .htaccess page and wait until the end of the month for the next update:
RewriteEngine On RewriteCond %{HTTPS} off RewriteRule ^(.*)$ https://%{HTTP_HOST}%{REQUEST_URI} [L,R=301] Hope it helps!

Hi there!
Sam from Moz's Help Team here! It looks like PlanetHurf has sent you to a great resource about why the Domain Authority might drop for a particular site - do let me know if you have any follow up questions about that.
The Spam Score isn't entirely dependent on backlinks. We also calculate this score by analysing your site itself (the URL that you enter into Open Site Explorer) You can click directly on the Spam Score from within Open Site Explorer, and you'll see a list of reasons we've assigned a site a particular score - for instance with https://moz.com/researchtools/ose/spam-analysis/flags?subdomain=truckcare.com, you'll see some of the markers are 'Thin Content', 'Low Number of Pages Found', and 'No Contact Info'.
The general rule we have at Moz is that you shouldn't be concerned about anything that has a spam score under 8. Additionally, just because our tool has assigned a site a specific spam score does not mean it is impacting the site in any way. These are merely suggestions of things you might want to check out. If you haven't determined yourself that they are spammy links, then there is no action or further concern required on your part - looking into backlinks from sites with spam scores of 8 or higher would definitely be a good idea, just to ensure that you aren't being linked to from a site that is actually spammy.
If you'd like to learn more about the Spam Score in general, here are some super helpful resources:

With regard to your DA dropping, take a look at this discussion that's taking place elsewhere on the Q & A Forum: https://moz.com/community/q/is-everybody-seeing-da-pa-drops-after-last-moz-api-update - It's starting to get interesting near the bottom.
Reducing the spam score will require some backlink analysis to identify the source of the links considered to be "spammy" and if you are concerned, and you are able, get them removed at source or use the disavow tool. Do read the advice given on this page before proceeding, though: https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/2648487?hl=en
Good luck!

Unsolved New Google SERP Now Lazy Loading
Hello, Google has changed the way it displays it's SERPs with lazy loading new listings. Because of this the Moz Chrome Extension no longer shows results past first results. I also often find that when a site is ranked above the Maps, it doesn't display results. Is there a fix for this?

Will Removing or Disavowing Toxic Links Improve MOZ Domain Authority?
The vast majority of the 140 domains that link to our website are very low quality directories or and other toxic links. Only about 20-30 domains are not toxic (according to Link Research Tools confirmed by out manual inspection of these links). Would removing some of these links improve of MOZ Domain Rank? What if we cannot remove them, can NOZ detect a disavow file? In general would improving the ratio between good quality and poor quality links improve domain authority? Thanks,

Keyword Explorer - root domain (NEW): Domains outside US & Canada - no or no meaningful results
Basically I really like and would love to use the new root domain feature in the Keyword Explorer in my daily work. I usually deal with small to medium sized sites in Switzerland. Looking these up unfortunately it either gives me back nonsense (i.e. keywords that merely have nothing to do with the site; sites are very well keyword optimized) or no data ("There are no results for your search") at all. Is this going to change in the future (...honestly) or its simply due to the fact that MOZ focuses primarily on US & Canada and maybe huge sites in Europe? Thanks for your input. Cheers, Cesare

Why there is a big gap between MOZ and Google Analytics Keyword Ranking for my website?
Hello everyone, I've just started a SEO project and I'm very new in the field. Well, I tried to select the most interesting Keywords for my website. When I checked out what the current ranking for each one was, I noticed that between Google and MOZ, figures are totally different. For example, for the word "channel manager": on Google Analytics: #2 on MOZ: not in the top 50 I know that for Google Analytics, these numbers are average (12 months). But it cannot explain such a huge gap. Do you have an explanation for that? And also does that mean that I can't trust Google (really?). Because I also did some analysis with Google figures: Monthly searches, Competition... Thanks for you help! Happy Christmas, Floriane.

Cannot crawl website with redirect intalled on subdomain url
Hi! I want to crawl this website : http://www.car-moderne.ch. I tried a got back the crawl just for that one url (not for all the pages of the website). This single line cvs says that the status of the http://www.car-moderne.ch is 200, but in fact it is a redirect 301 to http://www.car-moderne.ch/fr where the live home page is (actually the Moz bar sees the 301, not the 200 as the single-lined crawl does). How can I proceed in this case (a 301 redirect being installed on the subdomain url) to still be able to have a full-fledged juicy cvs with all the broken links, duplicate content, etc. Thank you for your help! 500 errors showing up differently on moz and google wmt
Lately, I've been having the issue of a large increase in 500 errors. These errors seem to be intermittent, in other words, Google and Moz are showing that I have server 500 errors for many pages but, when I actually check the links, everything's fine. I've run tests to see if there is any virus on the server or if I have any corrupt files and as far as I can tell, there are none. I'm left with the possibility that maybe one of my plugins is causing this issue (I'm built on top of Wordpress). Moz is showing that I had nearly five hundred 500 server errors on the 12th or the 11th. On the other hand, Google shows that on the 13th I had 179 server errors and then an additional 200 for the 15th. I'm assuming Google is slow to find or report these things? I would like to know which is more reliable so that I can try to figure out which of these plugins may be causing the problem, if any or if I'm investigating this the wrong way, I'd love to have more suggestions. Thanks in advance! Sorry, the url is http://www.heartspm.com if you'd like to take a look.
