Sudden Spike in 404 Pages Not Found in Moz Crawl But No Errors in WMT
-
Recently I received a spike in errors from the Moz crawler. When I looked into the matter I noticed that all the URI's looked right but then I looked a little closer and there was a /page/2 and /page/3 in front of the URI's. I'm running a WordPress website. Immediately I thought to myself this must be some kind of caching or permalinks error. So I disabled all my plugins including W3 Total Cache and ran the Integrity Link Crawler for the Mac and found that the errors were still popping up.

Hurf - Thanks for looking into this - Yes I'm running Integrity for mac which is a link scanner - That's where I got the broken link image that I attached to the this ticket.

Hi Kevin,
I ran a crawl of this site using ScreamingFrog's spider tool and found more than a few 404 errors, so something is amiss (or was when I looked at this, yesterday.) Try the free version of the tool yourself and see how it looks: https://www.screamingfrog.co.uk/seo-spider/ It's a useful tool as it gives you real-time results.
Good luck!

Hi there Kevin,
Sam from Moz's Help Team here!
Would you be able to pop a message over to help@moz.com along with the specific campaign name/website URL? We'd love to take a closer look into this for you but it will be much easier if we can take a look at your account directly:).
Thanks so much!

Can i Force opensiteexplorer to crawl a url?
Hello. I check the QA and didnt find an answer to this. I've check one link on my site which is indexed by google but not by mozopensite explorer. If i search the url i find it on google but not i nopen site explorer. This only means that open site explorer havent find it. IF google index that page this means i'm getting the juice? My question is if google index a page for sure it follow one of the links (follow link). This is importan for me since this is my best DA link, probably a game changer for us. Also, Is there a Way to force opensiteexplorer to crawl this page? Thank you.

How is Moz Page Authority Calculated?
Can anyone refer me to a document that explains the measures that go into the calculation of Moz Page Authority? I'm chiefly interested in what counts and what doesn't -- follow links, no-follow links, internal and external, what (if any) on-site factors, etc.

Question in regards to Comparing Metrics with MOZ tools
Hi all! After using the "Compare Links Metrics" in the research tools, a few questions popped up. Particularly, in regards to what key metrics to look for when determining if a websites outbound links are trustworthy and may pass Link-juice. Basically, "if my link is put on that website, will search engines trust it"? I've copied an example below and typed a few comments next to particular metrics.
