Does tier tactic really worth it?
-
Hi,
I've received a professional proposition to build a blog network so that the consultants can do a tiered link building strategy.
I read this post, but it is 3 years old.

Anyone can confirm me wether it works or I should reject this offer?
Thank you so much.

Have a watch of the recent Whiteboard Friday from Marie Haynes - she tells you about many different tactics that can work.

I tend to advise others to steer clear of anything that goes against Google's TOS. If they catch up with it, you will get a nasty penalty.

Rss Directories Worth the time? If so Which ones?
All I could find was a bunch of ancient posts on RSS directories. Just getting a new site set up and I want it distributing content as far as possible all white hat. Are Rss directories even worth my time these days. I was thinking of submitting to the top 10. We blog about 2-10 posts per week. Your thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks

Been offered a no follow link on a blog post ?. Is it worth it ?
Hi All, We are having a go at doing our own link building and just wanted some advice on a couple of questions I've found some industry related blog sites which could be good but alot of them only offer a no follow link ?. Is this worth it ? And if ,so what is the advantage of having a no follow link ? as it won't directly help with our DA etc ? I've also noticed some of these sites link to each other or recommend each other (i.e other blog sites) which may be some sort of link network ?.. I take it this is bad ? and could be penalized by google ? thanks pete

Does This Really Annoy You
I write a lot of articles to promote my site but even though i am happy that my articles get picked up and appear all over the net what really annoys me is when people use silly programes to change the words which do not make any sense. Here is an example:http://weightlosstipsnow.info/2011/08/weight-loss-secrets-are-inside-you-claims-weight-loss-hypnosis-expert.html feel that when people use this silly programes to change the wording to make the article look unique, it makes my writing look stupid and i feel it could damage my reputation. Does anyone use these programes or are you like me and think they are annoying and do you think they will damage my reputation.

"Diverse" Links from same IP address worth the work?
Hi folks, This is my first posting, so please be nice with me 🙂 I have completed an all-new website (www.buy-hosting.net) , however the domain is bought and already exists since 2 years, but has no inbound links though. Now I start building links. I have some clients of my web design business, I could bring in links to my new site on their sites from different domains, some established and years old. However, they all are hosted at the same IP address. Is it a good idea for link diversity to post links on their site to my new one? I remember a thing, that only 1 link will be counted, originating from the same IP address. Is this worth the work of asking clients, posting links, etc.? Or is it even dangerous to my new site? Also, any other ideas about how to start link building are welcome. Is there a comprahensive list, something like a "startes guide with practical ideas" to link building? Thank you and kind regards
