Has Google officially dropped the mobile-friendly label?
-
I noticed in my keyword ranking reports that the heading "Google en-US Mobile Friendly" indicates false for all tracked keywords...
Is this information still helpful in the reports?

Another excellent question. We're looking for the word "mobile" in the code in a number of languages to help determine whether a page is mobile-friendly or not.

Thank you for your reply.
This info is helpful, but my next question is by what criteria then are the websites being graded as either true or false,
-- all the websites on my campaigns are responsive sites, work well on a mobile, but perhaps one particular grading point is labeling all the websites as "false" for Mobile Friendly.

Hey there! Tawny from Moz's Help Team here.
As far as we know, Google has dropped the label "mobile-friendly" in order to declutter organic search results. In its announcement, Google said that “85% of all pages in the mobile search results” now are mobile-friendly by Google’s criteria and thus they decided to declutter the search results by removing the label. You can read more about that change over here: http://searchengineland.com/google-drops-mobile-friendly-label-keeps-mobile-friendly-ranking-algorithm-257245
We still think that label is helpful for you to know about your keywords and site, though! Since so much of search is conducted on mobile devices, whether or not you're optimized for mobile search can make a big difference in how well your site ranks!
I hope this helps! If you have more questions we can help with, feel free to shoot us a note over at help@moz.com and we'll do our best to sort things out for ya.

Why there is a big gap between MOZ and Google Analytics Keyword Ranking for my website?
Hello everyone, I've just started a SEO project and I'm very new in the field. Well, I tried to select the most interesting Keywords for my website. When I checked out what the current ranking for each one was, I noticed that between Google and MOZ, figures are totally different. For example, for the word "channel manager": on Google Analytics: #2 on MOZ: not in the top 50 I know that for Google Analytics, these numbers are average (12 months). But it cannot explain such a huge gap. Do you have an explanation for that? And also does that mean that I can't trust Google (really?). Because I also did some analysis with Google figures: Monthly searches, Competition... Thanks for you help! Happy Christmas, Floriane.

Google Penalty Tools?
Does Anybody heard about this tool? http://fruition.net/google-penalty-checker-tool/ ? Why MOZ cannot provide the same tool with all the inner and analytic data Rogers have? Did you see a penalty tool alike? For the recent two updates, I think that there is no real "penalty" per-se. Most of the sites I checked lost position on some keywords, and gained better position on other sets of keywords. If this statement is true - We need no tool at all 😉

Moz Analytics only working with Google Analytics?
Hi, My company uses Piwik for analytics. Do you know if there is a way to make the new Moz Analytics work with Piwik? Or if Piwik support will be provided at some point? Thanks! P.S. : I know it would be easier to switch to Google Analytics, but for many reasons we can't 😞
