I want your SEO feedback for my site!
-
Hello Moz community,
Please check out my website http://www.likechimp.com - I'd love to know your thoughts. I have never built links for my website but managed to do pretty well on the rankings organically. Lately, figures have dropped so need to get back up there on Google. Any tips from what you see already would be greatly appreciated!
Example ecom product I sell: http://likechimp.com/facebook-shop/buy-100-facebook-event-attendees/
Thanks

Luca,
You're asking a pretty open ended question of the Moz community. If you're serious about wanting constructive feedback, you'd be better off hiring someone to do a thorough analysis of your website and its supporting processes so they could come up with some worthwhile and actionable recommendations. You might get onesy-twosy suggestions from this post, but it sounds like you might need something more thorough and exhaustive.
Moz has 58 recommended companies on a list you can peruse. You could also go thru the Q&A and blog looking for people who are experts in this area and put feelers out to them. Otherwise, I'd suggest you post a more specific question as it might incent more responses.
Good luck!

Breaking a Big Website into Multiple Unrelated Sites
I have a big cluttered website that I want to simplify. There is content for patients, researchers, therapists who are looking for grants, etc.. Would it be a bad ideas to turn these into 3 or more, completely different sites with each focused on their specific demographic? Or should I just figure out how to organize the one site better? Thanks for your help!!!

Updating blogs - SEO best practice
Thinking of new blog content and one option obviously is to check out historical popular blogposts via Analytics and do fresh versions of those. So my question is what is best practice: 1. Copy and paste the old blogpost copy but edit it to be slightly different while still having the old blogpost live or 2. just update the old one and re-promote I assume it's better to have a new version of the blogpost?

Best SEO Approach for Scanned PDFs
I've just found a large number of great technical papers that we have written over the years. They are all scanned pdf's but still relevant. Currently they exist as a download but it seems to me that as each is approximately 5000 words of unique content we ought to be able to get some mileage out of them So I'm thinking of OCRing them, editing and putting them up as blog post with lots of links (10 - 20 max over the post length) to product pages (as it discusses a lot of the technical aspects underlying the products). Is this the best way of maximising benefit from them? Are there any other ways that would be good to use them?

How do I properly sitemap a site with static pages + Wordpress in it's own directory?
I apologize for the awkward wording in the headline. No to the issue, I have a site with static pages that are created as follows: url.com, url.com/page1, url.com/page2, etc. I then have WordPress install at url.com/blog. What is the proper method for creating a comprehensive sitemap for my entire domain. I like the sitemap feature provided by Yoast SEO plugin but I assume it will only index the wordpress directory (url.com/blog). Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hidden text that's not really "hidden" - seo
Hi guys, I have a question for you about a thing I saw on a website. I've attached the prints.

They have like "hidden text". It must be good for indexation, they can
target a lot of important keywords in it, and still keep the website
"clean".
Is this penalized by google if discovered? Do they see this as black hat? Thanks, Ricardo ?name=Captura+de+ecra%CC%83+2012-08-11%2C+a%CC%80s+06.00.36.png ?name=Captura+de+ecra%CC%83+2012-08-11%2C+a%CC%80s+06.00.36.png ?name=Captura+de+ecra%CC%83+2012-08-11%2C+a%CC%80s+05.59.56.png0 -
Posting youtube videos on your site-use irframe or "old embed code"
If you choose "embed" now, youtube gives you the choice of using an iframe: <iframe width="430" height="352" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/0-nKXALtHWs?rel=0" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen=""></iframe> or, the old embed code: <object width="430" height="352"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/0-nKXALtHWs?version=3&hl=en_US&rel=0"><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/0-nKXALtHWs?version=3&hl=en_US&rel=0" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="430" height="352" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true"></object> Is either better when it comes to seo?
