Open Site Explorer Showing Blank Screen
-
Hi Moz Community,
When I go to search for backlinks for any site, I am getting a blank screen after starting the search. This is happening to every search I perform for any URL or root domain. It's been happening for about a week now and I am not able to find any solutions.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
Ryan

Hey Ryan! I saw that you got it working already but wanted to note that I've seen this same thing happen when I enter only the url, (without http:// or https://)
Once I add the http or https it seems to work perfect.
Either way, glad you were able to get it working, cheers!

So glad it's working for you now! Nice detective work on sniffing out that solution, too! High fives all around.
-
Ok so I removed a couple of extensions from my Chrome browser and now it is working *jump for joy
Thank you for your help!

Yes already tried that and no luck unfortunately. Could it possibly be related to a chrome extension I am using?
-
Well that's certainly not how that's supposed to look when you're searching. Could you try clearing your browser's cache and cookies and see if that helps?

Hi there! Tawny from Moz's Help Team here.
Oh dear — that doesn't sound good at all! It's possible that it's a browser-related issue. All our tools are optimized to perform best in Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox. You might have better luck using one of those browsers.
If you're still running into trouble, please drop us a line at help@moz.com and we'll see if we can figure out why OSE is coming up blank for your searches.

Open Site Explorer: Error receiving data
Hi, When searching many URLs in Open Site Explorer, we seem to be getting the same "There was an error getting your data" message come up instead of the URL's metrics and inbound links. We have tried on different browsers as well, and the same issue results. Is there a reason for this or a way to fix this? Thank you! voPdqF5.png?1
