I'm a beginner with Google Analytics, what is a good place to start?
Would love to know some simple ways to set up Google Analytics to keep SEO in check. What are some of your suggestions?
How would you go about using GA to do this? and what are the alternatives?
Thanks!

I didn't know it was possible to link multiple tools so this is very cool. Thanks for your suggestion.

I've heard of lynda.com so this is definitely something I could learn more in! Thanks!

This is great. I will be starting to make a initiative to learn more about tracking and how to track and measure SEO.
Definitely keen to get into the google analytics community to learn more on that side of things too!

Hi Eric,
In addition to what Alick300 an Roman-Delcarmen has written, I think it would be valuable to link your Google Analytics account with the Google Search Console for your site(s), to have search data reported into Google Analytics.
In addition, here are a couple of blog posts for you:

Hope this helps

Would updating Meta Titles affect Google analytics tracking?
Hi All, I need a little bit of help. We need to optimize our blog's articles Meta titles for SEO which all exceed 100 characters. I was told that if we change the titles, google analytics would split the tracking pages and count the data as 2 pages (old title and new title). Has any of you have this experience before and if so, is there a way to avoid google analytics counting this as two pages? Thanks in advance! Google Analytics Tracking Code Problems
I am having a problem with my Google Analytics tracking codes. The relevant GA tracking codes have been entered into the source code of certain sites I'm running campaigns on, but Google Analytics is still telling me that the tracking code hasn't been installed - yet it has. What could possibly be the problem here? I have checked that these sites don't run off multiple domains, and that the tracking code has been entered in the correct place within the source code - and yet I am still having problems with GA. Any suggestions?

It appears there's a problem with our connection to your Google Analytics account. Please go to your Settings page to update your connection.
I keep getting this error though I have confirmed I have the correct information. Any recommendations?

How do I best segment tablets on Google Analytics
I would like to find a way to best segment out my tablet traffic to measure performance; however I'm finding that there are road blocks. It doesn't seem that device operating systems or screen resolutions have clear cut differences in the tablet/mobile versions. Has anyone here found a good way to create a "tablet" segment in Google Analytics? Right now I'm having to lean on solely the ipad traffic to get indicators of tablet performance. Thanks!
